“Good Food not Spectacular, Classy, Fine Dining”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 6, 2014

Level 2 is located on the second floor in the Hilton Hotel just across from Starbucks also a 1/2 block from Branson Landing. Valet parking is available for just tipping at the hotel entrance. This is a high end restaurant, I would recommend a nicer attire (pet peeve: someone wearing a t shirt into a fine dining restaurant). Level 2 would be similar to Mastro's or Ruth Chris, everything ala carte. The ambiance is romantic, classy, maybe a bit pretentious in a good way. We didn't make reservations because it was late in the evening, 7:30 (for Branson) although you can. We found dinner before 7pm generally requires reservations everywhere, once the shows start you can pretty much walk in and be seated at just about every restaurant.

Our waiter was very nice, we were waited on almost immediately. He explained the menu fully. We received our drinks then ordered or entire dinner. The waiter spaced everything out perfectly. We had Seared Ahi on salt block with a pineapple salsa and some dipping sauces, good not spectacular. Hubby had the iceberg wedge salad, good not spectacular. Hubby ordered the ribeye, good again not spectacular. I ordered the 6oz filet, slightly overcooked, good taste but not spectacular. We ordered the triple sides which gives you smaller servings of 3 items of choice, egg noodles & cheese, asparagus & Parmesan French fries. Didn't care for the fries but enjoyed the noodles & asparagus.

1 alcoholic beverage, 1 iced tea, 1 appetizer, 1 salad, 2 entrees, 3 small sides w/tip approx $155.00. Overall it was a nice evening, a decent meal, good service but food definitely not absolutely spectacular. The nicest/classiest restaurant we have been to in the Branson area.

Hopefully this helps you to make a decision on your restaurant choice.

“I don't get it...”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed April 25, 2014

We read the reviews and were prepared to be amazed...and we weren't. Fortunate to have traveled the world and lived in most major US cities and this for me was a typical hotel restaurant that was just above an Outback or Lone Star with an edgier style. Food wasnt bad, just not impressive...no need go back because "I have to have that steak again"...

“Very good Branson does not have nicer places had to hunt for this one”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 23, 2014

Very good Branson does not have nicer places had to hunt for this one. It's in a very nice Hilton. Most of Branson is burgers and fries or southern cooking that after awhile gets old.

The steak was delicious ...the calamari was great loved the sauce. The cheese noodles were great. The service was great was refreshing to get away for all the tourist traps in Branson and have a quiet dinning experience.

We were thrilled to find this place.

“Great food Overpriced”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 20, 2014

When you arrive they should say would you like a flashlight with your menu. It is sooo entirely dark in there you can hardly see. But, the room is well decorated and gives a very intimate private feeling. Everything is a la cart. The steak was very good but I've had better. The pasta was pretty darn good and was a decent serving portion. However, it's a one time a year kind of place. Definitely not, in my opinion, worth spending that much money. The experience of eating there is neat but aside from that it's not necessary to spend so much money.

“Best Steak in Branson”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 13, 2014

Level 2 is the best steakhouse in Branson. Located in the Hilton Hotel (on the second floor, naturally), it features everything you would desire in an upscale steakhouse.

The menu, while typical, is varied with daily specials. The salads include the Wedge, a Cesar and a Blue Crab Salad. Appetizers range from calamari and tomato basil bisque to beef tenderloin and wild mushroom bruschetta.

The steaks are prepared perfectly to order and can be topped with brandy peppercorn, whiskey or béarnaise cause. Speciality toppings cost extra - sautéed onions, blue cheese crumbles, etc.

Sides can be ordered family style for the table. The onion rings were wonderful.

Now for dessert! The butter cake was to die for. Be sure to split it as it is over the top after a big meal.

The only down side was the wine list. Excellent selection, but the most expensive mark-up I have ever seen. A $12 bottle of Apothic Red was priced at $42. That's 350%, far above the usual for most restaurants.
