I stayed in one of the hotel rooms just off the parking lot, and it really wasn't much of a walk to get over to the waterpark. The food in the restaurant was good, the coffee better, and the waterpark was loads of fun!
The lazy river was my favourite and the slides, while fast, are very well manned by the lifeguards. I was very impressed by the way they watched everything! I don't think the slides any more dangerous than others of their size, or any faster either! If you're concerned enough about slides in general, just don't go on them. My son loved them, he's 11 and was big enough to go on them all, and spent all day running up and down the stairs to go down them. I spent most of my time in the lazy river, just floating around and around!
It was busy when I was there, but they never ran out of towels, the guy folding them said it was his full time job! The bathrooms were reasonably clean, and I would recommend this place to a friend. (I'd also recommend a walk up the hill to the Stone Hill Winery, yum yum!)
