“Not worth the extra money to stay there”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed October 14, 2013

I've been coming to Branson for many years.I am usually on a strict budget and stay at one of the many economy hotels on the strip. This trip, my husband and I wanted to stay somewhere nice and I have always admired the exterior of this hotel so we chose to stay here. First of all it took the check in lady 42 minutes to check in the 3 people in front of me in line. Then I found out that the hot tub was closed! I was really looking forward to enjoying the hot tub and pool. As it turns out the pool was only 3 feet deep, so unless you are into wading, the pool is worthless. The beds were hard and we both woke up with stiff necks and backs. The good news is the hotel was clean, convenient and quiet. I should have stayed on the strip in a less expensive hotel and saved my money and maybe even gotten to enjoy a pool or hot tub!

Room Tip: They have elevators so staying on upper floors is not a issue.

This hotel is in a perfect location for seeing all parts of Branson & getting around town. It is a beautiful place w/ soooo many gorgeous rooms & banquet areas of all sizes capable of catering to absolutely any event or occasion. The food menus are fantastic & again can fulfill any needs that any event would need. There are dining specials all the time. The bar area is gorgeous as well. All in all, a perfect location for a vacation, get away, recreation, business, conferences, weddings, really any think you could think of ! Even for large numbers !

Room Tip: There are different types of rooms on different levels of the building. All are nice spacious rooms...

I've put off taking my family to Branson because I was sure it wasn't the quaint, friendly place I had grown to love as a child. I was wrong. When a dear friend living in Branson had an accident I knew it was just the reason we needed to go. We stayed at a wonderful hotel that had everything we needed and the staff was as friendly as could be. I especially enjoyed the complimentary breakfast buffet every morning. We saw several wonderful shows: everything from singers to magicians to Chinese acrobats and when we dined out at night the food was spectacular. My wife and I golfed at Point Royal and the Payne Stewart course which I must say was one of the most challenging courses I've ever had the pleasure to play. Enjoy the Lodge!!

Room Tip: We stayed a week in a room on the second floor at the far end of the hall and it was perfect!

Room was nice size, clean. Long walks down hallways to get to some rooms, however, outside parking allows you to get a little closer if there is a space available. Nice bar and food was good. Lovely outside patio area. I would recommend and stay here again.

Location was great and the breakfast was exceptional for a hotel. Wifi worked in the lobby and in the hallways but was unreliable to nonexistent in the rooms. Carpet was soaked around ac unit in first room and my wife and I both came home with allergy congestion from mold. They upgraded out room which was great other than some sort of slimy mess in the carpet in front of the refridgerator. I was tired of visiting the front desk about the wifi and room so I just pulled the fridge ou to hide whatever it was in front of the fridge. The restaurant and onsite bar were nice.

We had a three day holiday and decided to go to Branson, the two places we normally stay were booked full for the time period so we chose Lodge of the Ozarks. We were disappointed in the facilities is a good description without unnecessary details. Our first will be our last.
