“If only the show lived up to the scenery”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed September 11, 2013 via mobile

Wow, was Joseph ever a mess. I don't think I've ever written a Tripadvisor review, but in this case I am compelled to make an exception. It's true that the theatre is gorgeous, the staff is friendly, and the sets are outstanding. But I would challenge anyone to remember any of the songs after they walk out of the show. The score was absolutely bland and unremarkable. The dialogue was not much better and seemed as if it were lifted from a children's video. It was hard to rate the quality of he acting given what the actors had to work with. If you ever wondered what a high school play would look like if it had professional sets, this show might be for you. But if you want to see a show with strong religious overtones and be entertained as well, I'd recommend Smoke on the Mountain over Joseph any day of the week.

“Don't miss it”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 11, 2013

As one reviewer said, there's a reason this show is number one. There are numbers of reasons. It is beautifully done, with stunning scenery and "extras," like the animals, in an amazing facility. it is a meaningful story, beautifully told. Staff throughout the building is helpful and friendly. Comfortable seating Don't miss it!

“Joseph”

It was beautiful - but I would wear a sweater the next time. The music - the sets - beautiful and very moving.

“What A Drag...”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed September 11, 2013

This was awful. Not rooted in history, even biblical history, there were so many flaws. They say everyone who works there is Christian faith, well why snotty and snobby as well? They're not interested in spreading the Word but getting the Cash. Cramming us in like cattle, extreme cost for shoddy items at the gift store, and the most expensive concession stand in Branson.

It's a live acting show, but everyones voice was pre recorded. I liked the huge stage, but the fact that they open up the sides means that there is NO good seat. There is NO seat where you can see everything, unless you want to be in the back but then the theater is just so huge then you couldn't see anything at all you're so far away.

Don't waste time or money on this.

“Mesmerizing!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 10, 2013

The theatre is impressive, but "Joseph" was so moving. Seating was pretty comfy. It is handicap accessible. The staff throughout the building were friendly & accommodating. I would suggest everyone see this performance. It is so much more than a play!
