“Bad Experience”

While visiting Silver Dollar City, my group decided to enter Marvel Cave. The cave is a wonderful experience usually. However, on the day we visited, the tram that takes you out of the cave was not working properly when we got to it. We sat at least a half an hour waiting for them to fix it, but nothing was done. Finally, our guide told us we would have to walk back through the cave to the entrance. I am a diabetic and was getting quite weak by the time I made it back. We also had a pregnant lady and a small child with us. We were offered a glass of water and that was all. My question: Shouldn't they make an emergency exit to the cave in case that type of thing happens again

Been there, done that, ready to go back. Marvel Cave is very entertaining as well as educational.
Very knowledgeable guides, a real hoot.

“Marvel Cave - A Must See”

While visiting Silver Dollar City on our recent family vacation, we decided to tour Marvel Cave. We were given the regular cave warnings, a lot of walking, really cold, bats, must be in good condition. But, we decided to go anyway. I would recommend it to anyone who has even the smallest sense of adventure. It was a lot of walking and we did have to catch our breath a couple of times, but the tour guide goes slow enough that most would not have a problem. It was awesome. It is amazing the treasures that our earth holds that God has created that are just waiting for us to discover. Is a must see on your next trip to Silver Dollar City!
