“Great service-Clean Room”

Reservation was made on line prior to departure and check in and out were quick and easy; even the key cards were waiting. The desk clerk was very congenial and professional. The room was a bit dated and smaller than expected but very clean. The shower head left alot to be desired. Although it was supposed to be adjustable it was pretty well stuck in place; water pressure was ok, not great. The a/c unit was situated so that air blew directly onto whomever sat at the desk and didn't have capability of redirecting the air flow so that was a bit uncomfortable. The bed was very comfortable, the place was quiet and overall we had a good experience.

The rooms are very outdated compared to all Hamptons I have staid at. The carpet is old and sticky my sons socks where black from walking around in the room, I staid on the bed scared to walk around, Paint was chipping old and dark looking, no refridgerators or microwaves in rooms even the cheaper motels have this in every room! The lobby area is fresh but don't let this fool you for the rooms are no where near the beuaty! The little girl at the front desk was rude, and the manager so she said she was the Manager was in a sweat outfit? was just as rude you could hear the two in the back cursing about something! Very unprofessional!

This is definitely a safe, clean, and great place to stay. Loved it. It was quiet and comfortable. My wife and I were particularly please with the outstanding breakfast that came with the very reasonably priced room. We stay at Hampton Inns whenever available. This was one of the top places we have stayed.

Room was tidy enough, but sound travels pretty easily through the walls. Good Internet and plenty of hot water. Staff was a little cold but efficient. No specific complaints but would probably try another hotel next time.

There are plenty of eating options nearby, including Zarda's BBQ.

We came up to Blue Springs MO in August 2012, looking for a house to lease. While we were in the area, we spent 1-2 days at the Blue Springs Hampton Inn. We would've stayed longer, but what a dump! The bed was hard, the whole room we rented spoke of untidiness, there was only 1 eentsy-teensy elevator to use, and more than a few rent-by-the-hour floozies in KC Chiefs regalia were parading through the halls. My wife and I checked out early and spent a couple of days thereafter checking each other for cooties.

Room Tip: Check out the Hilton Garden Inn in nearby Independence, but get a room away from the I-70 side.

Hotel is being modernized (new paint in the rooms major work in the lobby) but ignoring that the rooms are less than perfect. The carpet runs a little way up the walls and it is easy to see the amount of dust in the corner. Whle this is common design for Hampton's the good locations do a better job cleaning. My room facing I-70 on the third floor was a little noisy but it is possible to turn the fan on continuously to create white noise. The remote did not work but since I got in late and left early it wasn't a big deal. Breakfast was average.

Room Tip: Get a room away from the highway.
