This is an ancient hotel just barely hanging on. Not inviting looking and everything looks like it's about to fall apart. The bathroom, for instance, has had it's door replaced but it doesn't quite fit so the door jam is a screw. And there is enough of a crack to where you could peek in. So be careful who you're there with :) And although it's a cheaper hotel it was still around $70 per night and that was with a military discount. So paying $10 or so more seems like it would provide a better hotel so I can't really say it was a really good value. Though it leaves a bad first impression it's niceties do come clearer. The beds were comfortable and the shower is new and very spacious. But overall below average.

While the hotel is small & outdated, it was exceedingly clean and the staff is super friendly.
The price is excellent but don't expect the big, posh beds you get at the Hilton.
These are basic, small rooms with none of the "extras".
They are, however, pet friendly and since I travel with a large dog this was a huge selling point.
This place worked out great for me since I was driving a long distance and just needed a resting place for the night. It is right next to the interstate with a large selection of dining choices and gas stations to choose from before getting back on the road.

Room was small but adequate for a night or two. I appreciated that the A/C was already on when we entered the room. Room smelled fresh and appeared clean. Breakfast was quite minimal as far as choices, but staff kept the area tidy during breakfast hours. Quiet, even though it fronts I-70. Could have used one more directional sign where you have to turn onto the frontage road that isn't very obvious. Front desk personnel were courteous and efficient on check-in and check-out.
