“Outstanding hotel in an outstanding hotel line”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 17, 2012

We recently stayed at the St. Louis Airport Drury. I didn't want to leave. The people in this hotel are so helpful, friendly, accommodating that you feel like they are there just to serve you. From the hotel maids, to the servers at breakfast, to the front desk folks, eveyone has a smile on their face. The hotel was clean, well run and they were very helpful when we needed to have some special accommodations for my elderly mother who was traveling with us. This is a great place to stay and so convenient for airport travel. Free parking, free full hot breakfast and dinner appetizers and wine and mixed drinks. We ended up just staying and eating the free appetizers for dinner our first night in town. We will definitely be back when we travel to St. Louis.

Room Tip: We were over looking the parking place next door and I didn't hear a thing. Slept very well!

I stayed one night because I had a 6am flight the next morning. I checked-in and then drove down to Hertz to drop off my rental car. The walk back from Hertz was about 5-7 min. You could try to talk the Hertz driver into dropping you off at Drury if it's raining. The room was a nice size with a comfortable bed and plenty of pillows. The room had a desk, bureau, and a recliner. The small fridge and microwave were conveniently hidden out of sight in the bureau. Nice LG flat screen TV. The bathroom had a shower/tub combo. The bathroom was a little smaller than the Drury in Shiloh and it didn't have the rainbird shower head. Good water pressure and plenty of hot water. The shampoo, shower gell, and conditioner were all in dispensers. No taking the toiletries unless you bring your own empty mini bottles. The room was well insulated. I did not hear the traffic or the aircraft. The evening happy hour is 5:30-7:00pm. They give you a card good for 3 drinks. They also serve food (hotdogs, chili etc). The popcorn and sodas are free 3-10pm. There is an Italian restaraunt (Lombardos) right next door of the bar food isn't your thing. The hot breakfast is served 7-10am on Sun. They do put out a continental breakfast (donuts, cereal, fruit, bagels, etc) at 4am for those with early flights like mine. The hotel provides a shuttle (the bus is actually a park and stop shuttle) to the airport, even at 415am. I would definitely stay here again if I had an early flight out of Lambert.

This hotel is literally across the interstate from the airport. Super convenient if you are flying out of St. Louis and need a place to stay. They don't offer a fly and park deal, which is surprising being that close to the airport. You have to pay for parking. The room we had was HUGE. That was nice. It had two sinks and a good size bathroom. They have free snacks, cocktails, popcorn in the lobby every evening. The downfalls: the cleaning crew needs to do a lot better job. There were several hairs in the bathroom, especially behind the door. Also on the back of the door was a used towel from the previous occupant. The hotel is in need of a good update. The pillows are big and hard and you can hear alot of traffic outside.

The staff were superb, so friendly & helpful. Free breakfast & 530 kickbacks were great added perks. Slept soo good on the comfy bed. Close to everything. Would definitely return! Halls were very cold, though.

The Drury Inn was beyond what I expected. The breakfast and after PM activites where way above what I expected. The only negative was that my door entry card had to be reprogrammed for me to get into my room.

We would like to apologize for your inconvenience! There were no other complaints regarding hot water that week, but we have found that on occasion, the showers need warm-up time. Once again, we sincerely apologize and look forward to future opportunities to service your lodging needs.

Thank you,

My family and I decided to stay here on our trip across the country and had a fabulous night! This was the first time we have stayed with Drury Inn and we will stay with them again. It is impossible to find any complaints about this hotel. We had popcorn and soda from the lobby at our arrival. The 5:30 Kickback was a great way to eat dinner without having to go anywhere. The hot breakfast in the morning was delicious, although the gravy was on the thin side. All of the food was great and I really love that it was included with the room. It made relaxing at the hotel with my family so easy, since we didn't have to go anywhere to get our meals.

We took advantage of the pool area, which was nice. The pool was a decent size, and although it isn't heated it was still a comfortable swimming temperature. The spa was also nice. We even used the free computer and printer in the business area, which was a nice feature and super convenient.

Our room was large (King Suite) and had two flat screen TVs (living room and bathroom), microwave and fridge. It was comfortable to hang out in the living room and watch TV in the evening. The bathroom was so nice and I loved that they had Shampoo, Conditioner and Body Wash in dispensers on the wall in the shower. It was so much easier than the little bottles. Even though this hotel is close to the airport near the freeway, our room was very quiet and we were on the first floor. I also love that they take pets and the pets are free. It makes traveling with my pet so much easier!
