“Best In Tunica”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 12, 2012

We have stayed here five or six times now and we love it every time we stay here. This is the perfect get-a-way location with the casinos close. There is a great breakfast and a nice pool. We stayed August 8-9 and the room was clean and a very friendly staff. Great Place!

Room Tip: 125 Great First Floor Room

We wanted to get away and have a relaxing weekend away from phones, the office and the rush of life. We had a wonderful stay beside the clean poolside and the rooms were exceptionally big with a couch and king size bed for an excellent price. The manager was exceptionally nice and I would suggest anyone here wanting to visit the casinos or to simply just relax and have a dip in the pool stay here. I will definitely come back. The breakfast was wonderful, eggs, sausage, cream cheese danish, juice :-)

Room Tip: Rooms on the north side close to the pool are nice if you want to swim.

We work at the Expo Center 2 to 3 times a years, this is a very nice place for us to stay. The desk personal is always friendly, and the cleaning staff are wonderful. The cleaning staff are always happy and seem to like their jobs and that they are happy to please. The only draw back it that it seems to always have some type of sport league staying there.....Kids are kids and sometime unruley, this is not the Hotel's fault, it is the parents. We will keep staying here when we are in town

Having read all the reviews before I went, I was a little hesitant to stay at this hotel, but I did and it was an excellent choice. Room prices were reasonable, rooms were VERY CLEAN, desk personnel were very nice and provided much info for what we wanted. At the time we stayed, which was July 13-15, 2012, there was a Little League baseball tourney going on so there were quite a few children, but this provided a lot of amusing times and camaraderie amongst the players. If any hesitation about staying here, take a chance and enjoy yourself. It was a VERY PLEASANT hotel to stay at!

Room Tip: Stay on the second floor for multiple nights. Your out of the way and after coming back from the cas...

On June 24, 2012 we arrive at this hotel after traveling 10 hours. We arrived with our basketball team so there was alot of us in the lobby. The team was competing in a tournament being held in Memphis. This hotel offered the best price. The manager was rude and called the police on us. It was not the welcome we expected to get. He was disrepectful and told one of our coaches to "shut his mouth". We had 7 rooms booked and had other parents arriving later in the week. He didn't want us to speak while he proceeded to raise his voice. As a consumer we had the right to be treated with respect and we did not recieved that. Other staff members went above and beyond to make sure the rest of our stay was satisfactory. The rooms were dated but clean. The breakfast was ok. The boys enjoyed the pool after a hot day of basketball. The experience of having the police called on us for reasons not clear has left a bad image of Best Western and I cannot in good faith recommend this hotel to anyone. It is my understanding that each Best Western is privately owned and operated, however it only takes one to ruin it for all. My experience at this one has ruined it for me and I will not stay at a Best Western again.

just stayed 3 nights, and was very pleased. staff was extremely pleasant and helpful. roooms were not fancy, but clean, fresh smell, well stocked, and quiet. fridge, hairdryer, internet, t.v. all worked flawlessly. the breakfast was excellent, with lots of chioces. arrived for breakfast one morning just after opening, another morning almost at ending, results were the same. plenty of food, hot items were hot, cold items were cold. room was always cleaned promptly upon our departure for the day. it was COMPLETELY cleaned(not just skimmed over as i have experienced other places) bed was really comfy, and made for a completely restful night.
recieved 3-night discount, which ended up costing less than 1 night at ANY of the casinos. this hotel is located close enough to everything in the area which makes it convenient. did not get a chance to swim, but did check out the pool-it sparkled! (very clean)
overall, very pleased, and definitely would recommend

I had looked on here before coming to Tunica. I was weary of this hotel because it had good reviews and then bad reviews. I did not book because of this factor. When I got to Tunica all the casinos were sold out. I had to stay here or drive another 45 minutes into Southaven. Just as I had expected.... the rooms were very out of date. The pictures on the website have been doctored up. The pool was really nasty. The non smoking rooms smelled like smoke. The attendants did not look pleased and one attendant commented to me how impersonal the owner was. I also had a patch work in the tub that looked very non Best Western policy.
