“Larger than I thought, friendly staff”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 21, 2013

This Casino is larger than it looks like from the outside. It has many tables and slot machines. There was a good variety and denominations for blackjack and slot machines as well. I thought the staff was friendlier than surrounding casinos in the area

“Money Wasted”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed July 4, 2013 via mobile

Takes longer to park your vehicle and walk in, than it takes to loose your money. Was there about 15 minutes and played 30 cent slots. Didn't win a thing. Not even worth the time.

“something fishy”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed June 26, 2013

I was playing a poker tournament recently and their was also going to be a drawing for the wsop 10000.00 buy-in main event. A person playing at my table had made the statement that he was going to win. he was knocked out of the tournament I was playing, but he along with the hundreds if not thousands of players that had played in ant of the tournaments were still elgible for the drawing. So at drawing time he is standing almost next to the management personel when they announce him as the winner. That was fishy but the way acted like they had a personal relationship with him really smelled like a tuna cannery.

“Fun Casino”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 14, 2013

We gambled at this casino several times during our recent trip to Tunica and found it to be one of our favorites. The slots were a bit tight on the payouts, but we did pretty well at blackjack and did receive some buffet comps while we were there (for future visitors - be aware their buffet no longer serves breakfast). There was live music on a couple of the nights we were there, and even though the dealers joked about how bad they were, we actually thought they were pretty good. The blackjack dealers and the pit bosses were all very friendly and really seemed to enjoy their jobs. One of our dealers was probably 75 yrs old, he was one of the original Horseshoe dealers from when it first opened, and he was fantastic.

One thing to be aware of, if you play in a poker tournament here, it is definitely catered to the locals and/or professionals. If you are a tourist who is a casual player and don't have all of their OCD hand motions and verbal cues and contortions memorized, the dealers will make you feel like crap. You will most likely lose your $60-100 entry fee, and the pros will take your money. We would have given this casino a 5 rating if not for that.
