“Always a pleasure”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 5, 2013

This place started out classy. It lost some luster during the recession but it's back big time! Good service, good food and a good time. Don't miss the nearby waterpark and golf course either.

“Not Impressive”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed June 3, 2013

Myself and three buddies decided to visit for a guys trip of casino and golf. For the good- the golf course is excellent. Impressive layout with great conditions. If I'm being picky it is probably an "A" course that could be "A+" with a little more effort on the bunkers and some of the aesthetics on the course. But with that could come higher prices and for the money I would say The Azaleas is a real nice value, especially at twilight (we did not play The Oaks). Also, the Dancing Rabbit Inn is a nice place to stay, walkable to the course, and the room is very clean and spacious.

Now for the bad - the casino is not impressive in any way. The customer service is as poor as I've seen at a casino- where customer service should be the most important thing of all. Almost the entire staff is rude and the comps are a joke. The lady in the poker room seemed to take enjoyment out of only offering us a $5 comp (for 3+ hours of poker) for a buffet that cost $23.95. The comp she gave us didn't even work across all places to eat either- only for certain ones. If you're expecting Tunica, you will be highly disappointed.

Stopped by for a night, new carpeting just installed on the casino floor and they have an excellent variety of slot machines.

“Average casino with too much smoke”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed April 1, 2013

This place really got hit by the economic hard times. The buffet is disgusting looking, the Villa Restaurant took 40 minutes to get the "blue plate" special out to us and the casino itself had some of the sadest looking folks I've seen in a long time. And boy, does this place need smoke mediation--you can barely breathe from the moment you step in. And, to get to the back to the "Gourmet Restaurant" if you have a child under 21 you have to walk all the way around through hotel corridors. Absurd.
