If you are considering a trip there, stop considering and start booking!
There is an 866 # to call- I believe it is -----. We stayed at the Golden Moon as The Silver Star is renovating some of their rooms. Ask for an upper room as they are bigger than the lower ones. There is a wall between the bed and bath area which has a window in it where you can take a bath and watch TV. It has closeable shutters for privacy.
The bedroom and all common areas were spotless, but the "star" of the show was the extremely comfortable bed. My wife usually snores loudly and I toss and turn. But-not -here! It had to be the most comfortabe bed we've ever slept in!
I don't golf but I gambled next to quite a few who do and there were no complaints as there are several courses priced reasonably right there at the casino! I had the most fun playing the "Wheel of Fortune" slots and Three Card Poker! I grossed about $1100 - but be prepared to smell like cigarettes! I really don't know why they can't clean the air somehow.
Anyway, play a few hours and ask for a host-when they arrive,ask them to "comp" you a buffet and they will if you've kept a seat warm long enough. After a nice meal break, play the $5 slots a while- I made most of my loot on them as did a girl sitting two machines away who posed with a $50,000 check!
You see, that's the secret... if you are willing to risk more per play, you will win more overall- play with nickles and take home nickles.
