Some restaurants start off great but then dwindle in their food quality or service. Not so with Petra Cafe, on Oxford Square. Now open till 2 am on Thursday, Friday and Saturday to sober up the students from Ole Miss [a community service?]. Having an occasional belly dancers and special food evening, like Turkish, provides cultural experiences for the Oxford community. This visit we both had their excellent Petra salad [pictured] followed by chicken shawarma plate and fried tilapia plate. We usually order a couple of appetizers, followed by a shared entree, because the main dish is large enough for two.
