“Excellent food and service. Loud!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 1, 2014 via mobile

First, let me say the food and service were exemplary at Snackbar. Tastes were subtle, well-controlled, beautifully seasoned. Service was swift and professional. I would definitely return to Snackbar. But...the lawyer sitting at the bar next to us nearly ruined our evening. He was loud and profane and, worse, consistent. Had he been home, preparing for court, our meal would have been practically perfect.

“Delicious but can be pricey”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 31, 2014

If looking for a special dinner out, I recommend the Snackbar. There is a varied menu with something for everyone looking for a great meal. If you don't want to spring for the expensive dinner items, the hamburger will not disappoint. Call for reservations because there is usually a wait

“Awful”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed March 27, 2014

4 adults, 2 appetizers of doz raw oysters & raw seafood items, 2 entrees of fish soup, 2 small bowls of bisque soup, 1 bourbon, 2 $35 bottles of wine. All oysters were smaller than the size of a quarter, crab claws were smaller than your pinkie fingernail. Honest, it was shameful, comical! Price tag with 20% tip, $295 divided by 4 = $73! We felt like idiots to be taken advantage of by such poor quality of food and exorbitant prices. We are travel agents and have experience in dining all over the globe. This was truly one of the worst! Never again!!!

“Casual Evening Out With Friends”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 4, 2014

We love this place because the food is good and we can usually get a booth which makes conversation easy with friends. It's off the beaten path so locals enjoy it. It's known for oysters but they have a great variety of other choices, too.
