“Good, but somewhat confusing...”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 31, 2013

The frozen custard here is really good, but ordering it can be quite a complex ordeal. They tend to have menus up describing the different types of cups and cones and combinations that you can get, but they don't have a list of available flavors of custard anywhere. The women working behind the window are not very helpful either. They weren't rude at all, but also didn't offer any assistance when I asked what flavors are available. Instead they replied, "Well, what flavors do you want?" It was weird. Still though, the chocolate I was given was very good.

“Great tasting treats”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 17, 2013

Tried a strawberry cheesecake quake and a snowball with cream. The snowball was very good and was a generous portion. But the strawberry cheesecake quake was out of this world. The custard was creamy and it tasted like eating actual cheesecake. I will definitely be back to try the different varieties of quakes offered.

“Quirky place that offers 1st class Custard Cream & Other Surprises”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 9, 2013

We stopped here months ago because my husband has a sweet tooth and loves Ice Cream Custards. We grabbed the custard back then and stored in our memory bank that the place offers some limited lunch fare, as well. We were traveling through Ocean Springs with my father in tow this past Sunday and we decided to give it a try for more than the custard. We ordered a roast beef po-boy, which was boosted up by the opinion of the girl taking the order. Shouldn't have listened, though. I'm born and bred in NOLA and eating Mississippi roast beef po-boys usually tends to be a letdown. And it was. But, the pulled pork sandwich my husband ordered was very good as was the sides of potato salad. I LOVED the potato salad. I make a very good potato salad at home that everyone in my life loves. This was BETTER! Very good indeed. So, learn the lesson and not bother with the roast beef po-boy, but stick with what they are apparently known for, which is barbecue sandwiches and ice cream custard, which really is pretty awesome. And the people providing service are very nice. They offered us free tastes of the Key Lime Custard they had just made and it was quite tasty!! Keep in mind, if you are not taking your order to go, the inside eating quarters are casual in the most possible way.

“Only one thing tops their custard!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 8, 2013

After a long hard day of work, we go here or Bop's for refreshment on our annual church missions trip to help HFH rebuild their community. The only thing that tops their delicious concoctions is their friendly service. The place has an eclectic feel to it but quaint to say the least...lots of character though. If you haven't ever tried it, you should make this place a must on your next visit!
