We were passing through on a road trip and looking for somewhere nice under $100 - easier said than done these days! This is a great location on a super easy on-off exit. The front desk clerk was pleasant even at 10 pm and made warm chocolate chip cookies for us. The room was very clean. I don't know how old this hotel is, but the bedding was in the new style: plush-top mattress, duvet, 3 down pillows on a queen, attractive colors. The bath was completely clean and had one of those massaging shower heads. Breakfast was cold cereal, oatmeal, waffle maker, chicken biscuits, yogurt, fruit, toast. Very pleased with this place for a one-night road trip stay.

For a midscale hotel this one a GEM! My husband and I were passing through on way to New Orleans and found this Hotel on tripadvisor. Tripadvisor came through on this one for sure.
First checking was very pleasant, breakfast is really good, and the whole atmosphere and decor of hotel make you feel right at home...
Now for the awesome part of story. It was our anniversary during stay and my husband wantd to play golf. So i bit the bullet and starting talking to Rodney about golf courses, not only did he know everything about every course that was nearby. You called and booked us a tee time at the Preserve and got us a great rate. Awesome service. The great part of the story is my husband hit a whole in one. His first one ever.
So needless to say this was one of the best anniversaries we have had in a very long time.
Rodney helped to make it that.... We have made it that we will be back here ever year and are going to tell all of our retired friends about this little GEM!

I recently was on business in the Ocean Springs/Biloxi area and stayed at this Carlson property. I stay at Country Inn and Suites all over the southeast US, Colorado and California. This hotel is no different. Very clean and well appointed. TV and internet services top of the line. The entire staff was helpful from check in to departure. The breakfast was very good. The common areas lobby, parking lot and breakfast area was impeccably clean!!! Great location. Easy access to restaurants, casino and shopping. Look forward to staying there in the future as my business needs leads me back to the Mississippi Gulf Coast!!

I've stayed in many locations throughout my travels. This place rates top shelf. The staff, in particular DeDe and Rodney, were absolutely superb. I even had the chance to speak with the owner who was hospitable and very personable. Would I stay here again? An easy answer - Without question!
