“GREAT COTTAGES!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 3, 2013

We LOVED our stay in Front Beach Cottage!! Its within walking/biking distance from the beach AND downtown. Bikes and kayaks are provided. For a family of four, Bellande Cottage was GREAT! The décor and atmosphere was wonderful. The owners were very friendly and helpful. They put a lot of love and hard work into their business! We were even able to park our boat there during our stay. The newly remodeled Bellande Cottage was absolutely adorable. The beds and sheets were Very comfortable! We had a wonderful time and can't wait to go back.
We were able to view the single cottage, also, and it was very nice!

The town itself is great. Beautiful views and trees. The cabana was small, but that's what we were looking for. Great area outdoors. Wonderful bed. The kitchen had everything we needed. The bed was very comfortable. I would definitely return! The only negative thing I could say about the stay was it was very hot when we arrived and took a several hours to cool down. This made unpacking a little more of a task but we just drove across the bridge to margaritaville to enjoy a few drinks and the great view there. We had a wonderful stay. Thank you. Also, thank you for the bottle of wine.

My husband and I stayed three nights in the Lagniappe cottage recently and it is a beautiful, romantic little getaway. The owners have obviously put a lot of love and energy into providing their guest with a top-notch accommodation. The high end fixtures and glass tiled dual head shower in the bathroom was a highlight. They leave you wanting nothing... on the inside. I was a little disappointed with the exterior. The parking seems to be on a first come, first serve basis and at one point there seemed to me to be seven cars for only a three cottage lot. It is a bit tight, but do-able I guess. Also, I loved the little outdoor patio they provided but was a bit afraid to use it since I encountered more large and intimidating spiders than I cared to. The greenery surrounding the cottage seems to be enveloping the steps and doorway. I understand it was a very warm and wet July in Mississippi and that sort of thing should be considered.
I commend the owners on being "green" and using clean runoff water for gardening and providing recyclable containers. More establishments should use their model.
Overall we enjoyed our stay, even though the weather didn't permit us much beachtime at all. Ocean Springs is a very nice, friendly community.

Green Features: Recycling provided. Uses clean waste water to water gardens. More establishments should model after Beach Front Cottages.

Thanks for giving us your feedback and we are so pleased to hear that you enjoyed the Lagniappe Cottage. Yes, the unusually rainy spell we've had has resulted in extremely lush landscaping. We are trimming and pruning regularly between downpours! We have been very busy this summer and some of our guests have arrived in multiple vehicles, thus the higher number of vehicles. We have parking for 6 guest vehicles located throughout the property and we have some more signage on order to help with the overflow. Again, thanks for staying at Front Beach Cottages. We look forward to seeing you again in the future. Cathy & Jason

Only about an hour and a half away to be a block and a half from the beach! This is a great getaway from New Orleans. Extremely relaxing and convenient to charming downtown Ocean Springs. An easy drive to Biloxi if youre looking for some nightliffe. The Key West Cabana is charming and perfect for a couple nights. The Bellnda cottage offers a lot more space if you want a more functional kitchen and sitting area. We used the bikes to check out the area and had a blast. Rain kept us indoors a lot, but enjoyed our stay despite the weather. We will be back!

We stayed in the NOLA cottage for 5 nights in July. The cottage is beautiful and relaxing. The kitchen area included a full size refrigerator, a dishwasher and two burner stove top. The bathroom included a lovely tub and separate shower. The sitting area had a love seat, chair and a two chairs.

My father-in-law stayed in the adjoining cottage. He was very pleased with it. The adjoining doors allowed both privacy and convenience.

The Cottages are close to restaurants and shopping in Ocean Springs. They are a short walk to the beach. We will definitely return to the Front Beach Cottages.

Once again, Trip Advisor led us to a little slice of heaven! I am actually typing this while snuggled up in the Key West Cabana's super comfy bed, listening to the coffee brewing, and looking forward to another shower (you will see why if you stay here...I want to recreate one for home! A special treat at night, trust me!) First of all, the cottage is SO well-stocked...from dishes to bath robes to a blow dryer to terrific toiletries...there wasn't one moment when I thought, "Well, I really wish I had a..." A delicious bottle of wine greeted us, as well as a personalized letter and several helpful brochures. The neighborhood is so pretty, and we loved being able to walk around. We felt very safe the entire time, and very well-cared for. Cathy and Jason are the kind of hosts you wish you had for friends back at home: charming, gregarious, gracious. Listen to their recommendations! We would love to return in the fall or perhaps the winter, to experience this little coastal town again. Thank you, Cathy and Jason, for a Wonderful experience! You have a true treasure here, and we wish you every success!

Room Tip: We loved the Key West Cabana...however, I think ANY of the cottages would be fantastic!

Green Features: I loved seeing recycling in action! Jason was collecting the bottles, etc. when we drove up. Lots of local greenery in the yard...really gorgeous!

My husband and I stayed Mother's Day Weekend in the Bellande Cottage! We had such a nice time. Quite neighborhood, yet very close to the harbor, beach and downtown Ocean Springs. Churches and parks are also nearby. The rooms were clean and neatly accessorized, bed comfy. The weekend brunches offered were superb ....... what a Mother's Day treat!
I loved the feeling of family participation in this cottage business. Way to go!
Thank you so much!
