“Very VERY pleased!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 26, 2013

We had to find a place to meet our son and daughter-in-law to give them their dog; They live in Louisiana and we live in Tennessee. We try to stay at military bases because they are much cheaper, but the military base in Meridian would not allow pets. So we typed in "pet friendly hotels - Meridian, MS" and found Drury Inn & Suites. I thought there had been an error because that hotel looked way too nice to allow animals, but I was wrong. We all four stayed in room 624 - it had two queen beds. The room was really clean with the exception that there was spots on the skirt of one of the beds that looked like someone had spilled gravy on it. That really didn't bother me, as the rest of the room was spotless. The bathroom is huge with granite tile floors that match the sink. There is built in pumps with shampoo, conditioner and soap in the shower so you don't have to deal with the small bottles if you forget your own. We were offered military rate of stay so for four people, it cost us $112.79 tax and all. For that money, we got a VERY clean and comfortable room. We were fed a simple, yet satisfying meal - choices were salad, hot dogs, chili, nachos with cheese and salsa. There was coke and juices available to drink. We were also given an alcoholic drink card, where EACH of us could have 3 free drinks of our choice. In the morning, we were fed donuts, yogurt, waffles, scrambled eggs, sausage and gravy. There was fruit available, as well as orange and apple juice. There were several types of bagels to choose from and spreads for the bagels. So for $113, we got a total of 8 meals with drinks, 12 alcoholic drinks and a extremely nice and comfortable room to sleep in. Divide that between 4 people and it is less than $30 each. You can't get that at Motel 6! I found myself trying to figure out how they stay in business. Very impressive. The staff was very nice, too!!!

We stayed one night at Drury Inn on our way from Texas to Tennessee. Having never stayed in this particular chain we didn't know what to expect. But we were pleasantly surprised. Lots of freebies including free light dinner and 2 drinks (be sure to get there early bc these offers start around 5pm and are over by 7pm). Free breakfast was good! Our room was very clean and beds were comfortable. The room seemed very fresh and the bathroom was spotless! Would definately stay again!

When I was searching forhotels in eridian the web sight said the Drury was a better value.
OK. I made a reservation. Ther was a bite to eat with beverage in the evening. There was a breakfast. My room was standard. Front desk was great.
I rarely stay in Meridian .This turned out to be a nice hotel.
Almost missed finding the correct street for the hotel. My GPS was wrong!

We were on our honeymoon on our way home and stopped in for the night. I was in shock about the price, cleanliness, and beauty of this hotel! I have never seen a more beautiful hotel in this price range. I would HIGHLY recommend this hotel to everyone!! OH.. and bed was comfortable too.

I usually stay in the big chain hotels (IHG, Hilton, etc) but decided to stay at the Drury since all other hotels in the area were sold out. Wow, what a surprise. Free dinner buffet (chicken tenders, mac-n-cheese, baked potato, salad, & typical snacks) and free breakfast. The rooms are comparable to other hotels and the suite was very large and accommodating. Parking lot was large and there were several choices for dinner if the buffet was not your style. This will be my new #1 choice for Meridian and we will definitely look for more Drury hotels on our travels.

Just finished driving 500 miles, tired and needing a place to stay. Instantly greeted with a smiling face and the desire to make our stay comfortable. Asked for a senior rate and received that plus an upgraded room for the same price. Class act through and through. The upgraded room had an aditional living room with fold out couch and another TV. Awesome room with lots of finishing touches. Perfect, perfect, perfect. Good location and .4 miles from Red Lobster.

Room Tip: ask for free upgrade. you never know, it may be available especially during the week.

Excellent location. Offered both breakfast and cocktail hour which included hot food and alcohol drinks which were included in the cost of the room. Staff was exceptionally polite. Décor up to date and clean. Close to shopping and food.
