Our stay was in early October 2013.

Decent clean place. TV system has no active guide and very basic. There was no clock in the room! Also only two towels for two people. No hand towels provided. We were provided hand towels upon request but no clock was available.

Hotels have to deal with idiots that steal anything not tied down, so I don’t hold it against them. The manager said there was a note from housekeeping about it and we looked in the storage room together for one and they just did not have a spare to provide. THANKS to thieving fools who care nothing about others.

What is it with hotels providing paper cups that wilt with moisture and cant be microwaved? A hotel room with a microwave but the cups in the room AND what they provide in the lobby can’t be microwaved. Foam plates served with breakfast cant be microwaved. What the heck is the microwave for, a paperweight? The wife and I are learning to bring our own stuff, because hotels are getting more dumb and difficult by the year. They do not pay attention to these little things or they intend to make taking breakfast to your room difficult.

We don’t like to eat breakfast with a cramped room full of strangers while under the eye of hotel staff and I like coffee as soon as I wake up. Room coffee is always even more terrible than the facsimile of coffee they provide in the breakfast spaces, so taking coffee and a small bite to eat to take our meds with back to the room is preferable.

The breakfast at this hotel was pretty typical for a mid-low hotel chain. Only real complaint is the breakfast meat was gone by 8:30, breakfast is slated till 9:30. Not everyone is up and ready for a heavy breakfast first thing in the morning. If it is advertised, I expect to have the full compliment of breakfast available till that time, but not the end of the world.

Also, PLEASE HOTELS stop with the incessant CNN on the TV in the lobby. I’m not asking for FOX News, but there is NO unbiased cable news, so just stop it. Put a local channel on or something else, or nothing at all. I am sick of the CNN blasting everywhere I go.

Thank you so very much for taking the time to complete such a detailed review of our hotel. I found your comments about some of the little things very insightful. We have taken extra measures to correct each and every one of them. We do still have the paper products but we have improved the quality of them so they can be microwavable. It is my hope that you may return and continue to provide me with such good feedback about our product and operation.

Side and back doors were not able to be opened with key cards which was very inconvenient for getting to our room. One chair in the room had a metal fragment sticking up in it that prevented comfortably sitting and the desk chair had two broken legs making it dangerous to sit in. The remote did not work correctly and the television would not come on unless it was unplugged and plugged back in which meant moving the dresser. Very dissatisfied with these accommodations and will not stay here again
