Came here for lunch with friends on a rainy Friday. Located in the hip Fondren neighborhood (where part of the movie "The Help" was filmed), the ambiance is cool. The dining room is packed (I would recommend reservations especially at night). They have an overflow dining room next door, but the ambiance just isn't the same.Wait for the main dining room if you can. Vibe is 50's -60's. Food is modern Southern. The grilled redfish sandwich was very good. Daily lunch specials. Catfish on the day we wre there. Portions were generous and the veggies were really good. I would love to try it at night sometime.
