Stopped here enroute to Tupelo looking for Strawberry Plains Audobon Center, which was lovely place to walk. The place was utterly empty when we drove up. It is a plain unpretentious building outside and inside. The interior was plain, simple and spotless white and chrome. There are tables and booths along the wrap around Windows. We ordered the catfish fillets plate at the counter. The woman who took and served our order was very nice. It came quickly in styrofoam take out boxes and was absolutely perfect and delicious. The fillets were battered, deep fried, hot, crisp, and flaky. The crinkle fries were also hot, fresh, crisp outside and creamy like mashed potatoes inside. The accompanying slaw was creamy and crisp. We ignored the white bread that came with it.
