I'm assuming based on previous reviews, that some of you are the "nagging" guest that is hard to please.
The property itself does sit on the beach. They just dont have beach access. If you are familiar with the area you would have known that the entire beach blvd strip (hwy 90) was completely full of casinos (13 to be exact) the ONLY casino hotel that does have beach access is the Treasure Bay casino. Everywhere else you literally have to walk to get to it. You definitely get a sense of family when you come. The bellman were extremely friendly, the front desk clerks were also very sweet and went out of there way to accomodate me and my family. Even got a courtesy upgrade to a suite for being inconvenienced. (had an issue with the ac in the room) There were 4 restuarants on property (i have no idea where 7 came from) and my personal favorite is Farraddays fine dining. The chefs there are EXCELLENT. (must try the fried strawberries! WOW!) The spa was VERYYYY relaxing. Me and my wife came back revived, refreshed, and spoiled. The property is a little out dated true, but I'd rather stay in an out dated venue where I get superb service with a smile and genuinely nice people, versus a modern chic hotel where you are just another person who swipes a card.
Southern Hospitality at its best.
