“Great Beds - Clean - Convenient”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 3, 2010

Spent a Friday night after visiting the casions. Got the hotel about 1am and the front desk lady had everything ready for us. Initial here, sign there, and we were on our way. The room was not large but was very clean and the beds were AMAZING. Everything seemed new (carpet in room was very trendy). We didn't stay for breakfast but looked ok - eggs, potatoes, the obligatory waffels, cereal, etc.

Room was on ground floor facing McDonalds. Even with that, not much noise. Only noise was other guest rooms doors. Why do people let doors slam in hotels?

Have stayed at other hotels in a few block radius. Yes, the Hampton Inn is about $20 more but it is money well spent!

As a frequent business traveler, exceptional service is noticed. The staff went above and beyond, helping us with directions and restaurant recommendations. They were a breath of fresh air after a long working day. Extremely nice room, would highly recommend.

Stayed at this hotel for a week while doing some work in Pascagoula, MS. Not to far from the city, and is also close to all the activity in Biloxi, MS.

The front desk was always professional and was accommodating when we wanted to check out late on our last day. The breakfast in the morning always had a wide variety of foods to choose from, so we never left hungry.

I will be staying here again when my job takes me out there.

3 of 5 stars Reviewed August 5, 2009

We've stayed at a few Hamptons and this one seemed to be doing things on the cheap. The front desk clerk was also working the breakfast area which seemed kind of weird. Also, the bathroom amenities were not the usual Hampton selection. This is a small detail but they always have the small bottles of lotion, shampoo, conditioner, bath gel and mouthwash. This Hampton Inn didn't have the gel or mouthwash. Not that it matters much, it just seemed odd. Our room was clean and the bed was the usual Hampton... very comfy. The wi-fi access in the room was not reliable. We had better luck with the wired connection. The wi-fi in the lobby worked fine. They also had a public computer in their so-called "business center" which was nothing more than a desktop and a printer. Unfortunately, when we wanted to print out a map, the printer wasn't working (out of ink).

We noticed that the swimming pool was full of green murky water which seemed strange since it is the first week in August and there were still summer vacationers in the area. Also, I heard the front desk clerk talking about the leaking upstairs, so apparently it is still a problem as other reviewers have mentioned. Our room was on the first floor so we weren't affected by it. The breakfast area wasn't overly enticing. I have seen better in hotels of this class (think Holiday Inn Express). The hot entree here was one steamer tray with french toast sticks and some sausage that was more like kielbasa or dinner sausage, not breakfast links.

So, even thought this Hampton was a little different... our stay was uneventful, the hotel was clean, the staff was pleasant and we got what we paid for, so we're giving it 3.5 stars.

4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 10, 2009

My husband is in the Air Force Rsv. and we stayed 4 nights at this Hampton (3rd floor) in June during a drill weekend. I had wanted to book the Hampton on the beach in Biloxi, but wasn't willing to shell out an extra $50+ per night. This hotel seems to have been recently renovated, which, with the newer/rebuilt hotels in the area, makes sense. I opened the drawers in the room and could still smell the wood (no old smoke!!!). To be fair, there were positives and negatives..so here they are: bathrooms have been redone with granite and the furniture appears new; the linens were spotless; the bed comfortable; flat-screen TV; air conditioner kept up beautifully; no dehumidifier anymore, by the way. My personal negative was that the quality of the hot part of the breakfast has gone down hill to me. THe scrambled eggs were horrible, but everything else was just fine. Be advised that the hotel is surrounded by fast food, so stepping into the parking lot you smell french fries. If you want to run to a casino, you will have a short drive, but you might enjoy the back road if you are tired of the interstate. Overall, I really enjoyed this hotel and will probably choose this again next time I go with my husband to Biloxi. I hope this has been helpful!

The day we were going to check out we asked for a late check out and put the do not disturb sign on the door but the housekeepers still knocked on the door three times!
I was unaware that my stay included free breakfast so that was a very pleasant surprise. The quality of the food was very good. Thank you!
I was very impressed with the softness of the linen and towels.
The noise heard from the inside of my room was very minimum and mostly during the morning time when people were waking up and taking showers.
Parking can be a problem after 2am which is the time I arrived the hotel after gambling.
The front desk was extremely friendly, offered directions, and even had cookies to welcome us every time we returned to the hotel. Overall I am extremely satisfied.
