The staff at this casino resort were very helpful and friendly. I also thought the rooms were very well appointed along with the fabulous bathrooms. The Sports bar/restaurant was also very good with good efficient waiting staff. The pool could have been better. We arrived mid afternoon and rented the VIP sunbeds and parasol. Unfortunately a storm set in within the hour so were ordered to leave. I was given a refund the next day after making the request. It was not offered to me but at least I got it. The main problem with the pool was that it was dirty. There were no showers for guests to use before entering the pool so it was full of sand and sun cream. The lifeguards kept close watch on swimmers forbidding them to jumping in but took no notice of a group of boys and men who were throwing a ball around stopping anyone else from enjoying a swim in the pool for fear of getting struck by the ball. I also have a problem with smoking in public places. When will Mississippi get into the 21st century and stop it? On entering a restaurant you are asked if you want smoking or non smoking. What? No thank you. Even walking around the resort (inside) people light up. So archaic and offensive to me. I don't think I would chose to stay here again.
