We stayed here after we cancelled our stay at the Palace Casino Resort because of how close it is to the Beau Rivage and Hard Rock, and we were really satisfied. Our room was huge and clean,it had a mini fridge, microwave, coffee pot,and a safe(no extra cost). Most places have a per day charge if you want to use their safe, not at the Best Western, they had fresh breakfast every morning, even had bacon and breakfast sausage, our room had a balcony with a view of Beau Rivage, close by they have a Shell mini store and a Waffle House,we stayed here to attend a concert at Beau Rivage and all we had to do to get to Beau Rivage was cross the street, will stay here again.

OK, so this is not a 5 star hotel but iI would give this 3 star hotel 5 stars for its category. It does have comfortable beds, the staff is helpful, the rooms were clean and since I was there on business I was very happy with those elements. The internet service was just lousy - it was so bad I couldnt upload documents that I needed to send out that night. Thats my only complaint. I would stay here again despite the internet issue because it was clean and comfortable.

This hotel is right across the street from the Beau Rivage and not far from the Hard Rock Cafe. The parking is free. The rooms are large, very clean and have small refrigerators in them. This can be an inexpensive alternative to the $239 casino weekend rates.

We were attending a concert in Biloxi in October and chose this hotel b/c of the proximity to the Beau Rivage where the show was. It was a good deal but honestly, I think I'll pay the extra money to stay at the Beau! The front desk could have cared less about us and room was below average. Bed was uncomfortable and the bathroom could have been better. I have stayed at cheaper places nicer than this place! We completely avoided the breakfast b/c it looked kind of 'yuck.' We were expecting more w/paying close to $150 a night.

We were on a "value" vacation. We stayed in a few hotels on the way down to Biloxi that were "scary". We crossed our fingers when checking in here, and I was so happy, I jumped on the bed! Everything was excellent. Peggy, our "breakfast lady", was an excellent hostess. She was hopping all the time to keep the guests happy. We were withing walking distance to the white sand beach and casino's. If you like crablegs, I suggest the buffett at the Beau Rivage.

We are from the area and wanted to have a room on the parade route for Mardi Gras this year. Booking online was easy and fast, Best-Western-reward member and AAA-member friendly.

I checked in on my way home from work and went up to look over the room. The assigned room could have been in a little better location, and a small balcony would have been nice. I went back to the front desk and asked if there were other rooms available. Kristian at the front desk quickly and efficiently changed our room to one that fit the bill perfectly.

We arrived back at the hotel late Monday night and sank into the soft, comfortable beds, each adorned with four pillows. The curtains on the balcony door didn’t quite cover from end to end, so there was some light leaking in on either side. There was no noticeable cigarette smoke invading our area, even though there was what looked like cigarette chimney adjacent and below our balcony. The hotel was quiet and it was easy to sleep there.

We awoke to a quiet Tuesday morning in downtown Biloxi. We went to the dining area and enjoyed the various pastries, bagels, fruit, hard boiled eggs and cereals offered. Hot fresh coffee, cold milk and juices were available. Ms. Peggy was busy in the kitchen preparing waffles, hot biscuits and sausage. She was really nice.

After breakfast we walked along Highway 90, watching parade preparations. It was exciting. We returned to the Best Western and met Don, the head maintenance man. We had anticipated grillin and chillin right there on the property. He explained that they simply could not allow grilling on the premises, especially during events such as this. His reasoning was well thought out, and delivered very diplomatically. The property was maintained very nicely. We chose an area off premises to grill.

There was a contract security man at the front gate of the property, necessarily ensuring that only registered guests occupied the parking spaces of the hotel. Parking space is prime-time during Mardi Gras. He was really efficient and a lot of fun! He helped to make the parade day quite memorable.

We will probably stay here again for Mardi Gras next year.

Depending what the purpose of your trip is, the hotel can be a great or just mediocre fit. If you come here for one night to visit the Casino at the Beau Rivage, this hotel is great in terms of location and money. You can walk to the Beau Rivage and the rooms are much cheaper than at the Beau Rivage. The rooms were average but relatively big with comfortable, soft beds. The bathroom was rather small.
The bad parts: still too expensive for what you get but to be expected in this area. The hall ways stunk of smoke. I am an avid bath taker and didn't even want to soak in the tub because the water had a creek smell to it and was somewhat yellow. Not appealing. No gym.
They had a nice breakfast selection with made to order waffles, bacon and sausages, bagels, donuts, muffins, hard boiled eggs, cereal, yoghurt and drinks but the atmosphere was rather cheap. Overall, the next time we come here to go to the Beau Rivage we will try to dig deep into our pockets and stay at the Beau Rivage instead but the Best Western serves its purpose.
