So many resturants have a problem with consistency but not Port O Call. They have always served excellent food every time I have visited. It's not fancy in decor or food presentation. It's what I call a "mom and pop". But, how bad is that? When I am asked, "Where's the best place to eat around here?", I always say..."My mom's house!". Port O Call would rank a close second when it comes down to just really good food at reasonable prices. I tend to order the shrimp platter which comes with a baked potato, hush puppies, and a salad bar. But, I've had other fare ranging from hamburger steak, broiled stuffed flounder, shrimp spaghetti to po-boys. It's all good! The wait staff is always friendly and efficient. I can't say anything bad about the place. Oh, be aware that on Sunday's they are open only for a lunchtime buffet and it too is excellent...all sorts of southern cooking goodies.
