“A home run quick breakfast”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 9, 2013

The Biloxi schooner is really an old diner dive, but their breakfast is cheap, fast, delicious and plentiful. This is a great 'morning after' place or even Sunday breakfast hangout. You won't be disappointed by the large portions and no frills down to earth menu. I

Pre Katrina and Post this place has consistently provided great gumbo and po boys. We have never had a bad or mediocre experience here.

“Local Lunch Favorite”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 26, 2013

Whether you come for the daily specials or one of their first-rate po-boys, the Schooner is sure to satisfy your cravings. A long-time noon-hour gathering place for Biloxi locals, this eatery has been serving up great seafood for many years now. Once located at "The Point", this diner is now squarely in downtown Biloxi across from Nativity BVM and just down the street from Biloxi Regional Hospital - Easy to find, easy on the pocketbook and good seafood - there's no way you can go wrong here...

“Will never eat there again!”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed March 27, 2013

We have heard this was a great place to eat. We both got sick within minutes of leaving. The food was burnt the only thing actually edible was the salad. I went for raw oysters but since it was Wednesday they didn't have them. We ordered the seafood platter. Both orders were burnt. The fish was not quite done on the inside and burnt on the outside. The fries and shrimp were almost edible but the stuffed crab even smelled burnt. I drowned it in lemon juice and ate half of one unable to eat more. The waitress noticed me taking pictures and ran over to see what was wrong. Both she and the cook apologized and offered to cook us something else plus no charge for the meal. We refused anything else from the menu. If we had been made to pay it would have been over $40 for inedible garbage! We will never try this restaurant again!
