On my last trip to Biloxi, my 2 teenage sons and I attended Mass at the Cathedral on Sunday. We attended the 9:00 a.m. Mass. Upon entering the Cathedral of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary, one feels the awe of the stained glass windows and the carved wood that has been carefully restored since Hurricane Katrina hurt the building. The Cathedral offers Sunday Masses at 7:00 a.m., 9:00 a.m. ,11;00 a.m. and a Vigil Mass on Saturday at 4:00 p.m. The daily mass at 6:30 a.m. and 8:00 a.m.. The Cathedral was built in 1905 and is the 3rd church
on the Mississippi Gulf Coast dating back to the French Colonial era -1699.
The congregation is friendly and happy to have visitors.
