casino had a strong odor of cigarette smell compared to other casinos, and payouts were not that big or often. hotel and employees however were great. found hotel and room clean and comfortable, and employees were friendly (especially valet).

We stayed 8/17 to 8/19 on the pet floor. Beds were above average and room was very pleasant. Very very friendly hotel staff and knowledgeable about the facilities and local area.

Good pool area and well maintained. Plenty of space and lounge chairs.

Pleasant casino where we won and lost. Friendly, courteous and fun dealers at table games. Average slots but did win $392 on a penny machine with a $5 investment.

We plan to return for another long weekend

The Harrah's casino in Biloxi was known as THE GRAND CASINO before. They redid the hotel rooms , restuarant and casino area. The casino has a lot more new machines and a good clean look. The buffet is very good however the new bar restuarant needs to relook at their menu.... The old bar had very good sandwichs and finger food. Now the food there is OK however not something I would go back to order.

The pool is area is very nice. I didn't not stay at Harrah's this trip so I don't know what the rooms are like after the update...

We were going on a bike trip, so we decided to go to Mississippi, to the Gulfport Wow it was great we booked on line we didn't know what to expect but it was better than we expected. we read some trip advisor's about Harrah's some not so good but we took and chance and it paid off the room was large and clean the people were very friendly the restaurant was very good little pricey but worth it and the casino was on the small side but I have found that large casino's don't pat off. Needless to say we walked away winners all the way around. Looking forward to the next time already! Had a great time!

Room Tip: go during the week the rooms were cheaper

Drove from Dallas to Pensacola for a wedding and decided to stop off in Biloxi for the night. Stayed at Harrah's and had a wonderful time. Played electronic craps since the tables were loaded. I was a winner at the game, the stay, the price, and the food. I will be going back to Harrah's again. The view of the gulf is great, and the weather was wonderful. Took the little trolley looking bus down to the Golden Nugget and to a few other of the hotel/casinos. Biloxi is still trying to get back after hurricane Katrina, but with the wonderful people I met and talked to, I really think they are on the right track and will get back most of all they lost.

Room Tip: Ask for a gulf view.

All of the people that work at the Harrah's Gulf Coast help you as much as they can. The casino has been updated with a new look, the rooms are clean and the beds sleep like the "baby bear's bed". The rooms also have a excellent view of the pool and gulf, can't wait to go back!!!

Room Tip: Ask for a room facing the pool or the gulf.

We are currently staying at Harrah's. We come to Biloxi one to two times a year. However, this is our first and last stay at this hotel. We stayed here because the casino/hotel we usually stay at was fully booked. When we arrived, we were told that not only do they not guarantee a non-smoking room, but they also do not guarantee bed types. So rather than a room with two queen beds, we have one king. Then, they wanted to charge us for a rollaway bed. Considering we had requested two beds, this seems absurd. After refusing to accept that solution, they did provide a rollaway without charge(of course this will remain to be seen at check-out). We waited in our room for nearly an hour and the bed had not arrived, so we had to go back down and request this again. There was a different person working at the desk, so again we had to go through a lengthy conversation to get this worked out. I find it absurd that you offer reservation types with room selections if that is not what will provided upon arrival. In all my stays at any hotel, I have never had this experience. The buffet is absurdly priced at 28.99 a person for Saturday dinner. The good quality is no where near what it would need to be to pay that amount. Management if this is read, please know there is no need to tell me about not experiencing the great time that your many guests have grown so fond of, as I read on all the terrible reviews. I am certain that those guests are likely smokers who are too drunk to know what type of bed they chose. I expect better service from a motel 6, much less for what we are paying to stay here. I have never left a poor review for any establishment, but this is not acceptable. If you have allergies/asthma that prevents you from staying in a smoking room as do some of our party, I HIGHLY recommend going elsewhere since you will not have that option upon arrival.
