“Not great, not horrible”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed October 17, 2013

We expected King Size beds, since that was what we reserved (I guess we didn't read the fine print closely) That said, two queens were OK. However, someone had already been in this room. There was a used washcloth and towel, the soap was opened, in the shower and by the sink, someone had been sitting on the bed, as well. Perhaps they moved the occupants, who knows.

They are a little TOO pet friendly, the dog 3 rooms down barked incessantly, so my daughter and her boyfriend had to move to a different floor, so we were separated. The pool is nice, as is the hot tub, but there was no way to know how/where to get towels. They really should have it cleaned and ready before opening the next morning, I felt like I was sitting in an after-party section. The casino was not one of the best. No servers to be found, several machines down the entire time we were there.

Regardless of these issues, I will say the staff was really friendly, and courteous in every area, from front desk to pool staff, housekeeping, and casino floor.

We stayed at Grand Biloxi recently and have to say we were very disappointed. At 2:00 p.m. when we arrived we were told that check in was 3:00 and that although the room was ready we could not get in until 3:00 unless we would pay a fee! We were shocked--We have stayed in many hotels in many cities and we have never heard of such a thing. Trust me it wasn't the $15 dollars it was the principle. Like another poster to this site we too boycotted the hotel, the restaurants, casino etc. There are so many other great places in Biloxi that we would not stay here again. We also told everyone we met about this hotel 'policy'.

Additionally the pool area was really tired looking...the pool chairs (the few that were there) are old and frayed. The pool is in disrepair with tiles missing along the edge. In order to get towels you have to stand in the long line at the front desk.

We booked a room here online and were very pleased with our choice. The hotel was clean, the staff friendly and the price was unbelievable!! The buffet the night of our stay was 2 for 1 and the food was delicious!!

Upon arriving at the hotel after a long day of travel we were stunned to learn that in order to check in early we would have to pay a fee. The front desk shared that they did have rooms available but we could not check in early unless we paid. Tired and needing to be refreshed prior to adventuring out we refused to pay on principle alone and boycotted their casino, shops and restaurants our entire stay. Their goal appears to be to get the consumer into the casino and not to their rooms. Security is also a question as one morning there was a guy sleeping in the hall on the floor - where did he come from? The hotel was accessible to anyone at any time without a security presence. Too many other choices to stay here again.

Property is very nice casino is very small and uninteresting. The beds are very comfortable and the room is a bargain for what you get.I always get a room with a west view.I wish the buffet was open for breakfast but the lobby café is pretty good.

Our first visit to the coast casinos since the hurricane. The old Grand Casino gone. They rebuilt across the highway. We had a king room on the 12th floor, reasonably priced, very clean.Customer service excellent! Seafood buffet on Friday night really, really good(crab legs fresh and perfectly cooked).Ate at the Grand's buffet two other times during our stay and was surprisingly amazed. We have visited Tunica, Philadelphia, Gulfport, Biloxi, etc multiple times. This was one of our most enjoyable stays.
Didn't win but courteous, friendly staff helped us not feel like losers!

I will not stay here again! No free wifi! Had to go to mcdonalds to get wifi. $10/day for wifi. $11 for a movie. Very poor TV selection if stations! Vending machines on floor either out of order or out of diet drinks! And when I called front desk they were no help! Told me to go to another floor! (They were out too) They charged extra for cruzin the coast participants to have their expensive cars parked! They wanted $55 for simple pedicure! There was not anything in the room to explain services they provide. Breakfast was good & housekeeping was good!
