“Great 4 day vacation”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 10, 2012

This was our first time in Biloxi and we really enjoyed ourselves. We had a king room that was clean, comfortable, and nicely appointed. All the staff was great, housekeeping gave us everything we needed, room service was fast and excellent food. The only down side was that the treadmills in the fitness center were out of order. Didn't win much until the last night. We will definitely stay again.

Room Tip: The top floor was really quiet.

I was a little disapointed that they didnt have a normal bar. They had a bar area on the casino floor but there was no where to dance or anything like that and it was very bright of course because it was on the casino floor. The room was nice enough, nothing special but comfy.

I am relocating to the Gulf coast soon and recently drove down to view homes and stayed and loved it. Relocating is not fun. But I really am excited about the process. I recommend this hotel. The restaurant is pretty good 2. They have a nice pool and gym.

All guests should stay here when in Biloxi or Gulfport.

Room Tip: 5th floor and higher are good.

Stopped by for night on way home. Late reservation, but lucked out and got an upgrade room for no extra cost. The suite consisted on living room and seperate bedroom and huge master bath (with whirlpool). Excellent. All staff encountered were cordial and friendly.

Was travelling through and found a great rate on the internet. Stayed on a non-smoking floor and room was clean and lots of room. Charge for internet was high, I guess they don't want you staying in the room but would rather you be in the Casino. Didn't try the any of the buffets or services, but overall very nice lobby, staff, and facility. It did look like there was some construction(hotel expansion) in some areas, but didn't notice any noise or distractions on our stay(1 night). I would stay here again, but I doubt the promotional rate will last long. We were on the 7th floor.

Stayed her last weekend on a business trip. Got a last minute deal using an on-line travel website. Unfortunately, I have to give the Grand a big thumbs down.

Its a nice enough place, but it stinks! As in it smells bad. Like the stench of a nursing home filled with old people chain-smoking. Why anyone would let people smoke in the lobby, the restaurant, the gift shop, and the small bar in the lobby is beyond me. It truly smells awful.

The "sports bar" has a horrible menu - bud, bud light, miller, miller lite, coors, coors light. God forbid they dump one of these exact-the-same garbage beers and get something that actually tastes good. Ugh. Huge thumbs down !

Valet parking- they "dont allow" you to call for your car. You must walk to the valet, and hand him your ticket. THis wouldnt be a negative, except that it takes 15 minutes of standing there before you get your car. So, Grand Hotel.. why cant I call for my car from my room ???

And my pet peeve - wifi in your room costs $15 a day. Havent we moved past the ridiculous charge for wifi? Heck I get free wifi at Taco Bell and Krystal Burger. For a hotel to charge me is a guarantee that I wont ever go back.

Lastly, the hotel had closed the whole pool area for a private party. I understand this happens, but it would be nice to know when I booked my trip.

Summary: smelly, smoky, stinky, bad drink menu, poor valet parking, and rip-off on extra charges. Sorry, thats a thumbs down.

Room Tip: Tip: go somewhere else.

We stayed here again a year later. The hotel still is getting work done to it, new glass and other facade work, not much on the inside. The room was good, except the morons next to us who decided to have their daily argument at 2 am. What idiots! Anyway, the desk moved us as we waited ten minutes for security to show up, but never did, so we moved to another floor. This wa much better. The pool was very nice, hot tub hot, but not a lot of power in the jets. Overall very nice place. Shame they wont improve the view by getting rid of the old hotel property across the street.
