“The Best Sea Food ever”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 28, 2013

Great fresh seafood. We loved it and we're from ft. Lauderdale. Some of the freshest Shrimp I've ever had. The fish looked like they had been caught within the hour. My husband tried the fresh cooked crawfish for the first time and loved it.

“A Hidden Gem”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 22, 2013

I feel that an explanation is in order. The commercial business is called Quality Poultry & Seafood, which supplies fresh seaffod and chicken to many of the restaurants in Biloxi. The eatery is called Rosetti's Old Biloxi Café, and with all due respect to the previous poster, the seafood is very fresh as it comes direct from the Gulf and is only steps away through the doorway in the fish market. This is truly a "local establishment" that sees a steady flow of Biloxi residents as well as us lucky tourists who find it. We found this café on this website and after discovering that it closed in the early afternoon, we knew we had found the right place for great, local eating.

22 of the 27 items on the menu are below $9.99, which makes for a very fresh, delicious and inexpensive lunch. You even have the option of walking through the door to the market, choosing your fresh fish and having it prepared for you in the kitchen. Folks,,the seafood is very fresh. I had the Small Shrimp Plate ($8.99) which consisted of way more than 14 shrimp, cole slaw, homemade fries, and the daily dessert + my drink. Wife had a big cup of seafood gumbo ($3.99) and a drink. We were full and did not spend more than $20, including the tip. There was no waste as the shrimp had been peeled, divined, and tails removed.

The fish and other seafood is covered in ice for a very important reason ----- to keep it from spoiling. Those of us who grew up on the coast know that. The market does have frozen items for those who do not plan to cook the catch that same day. Very Logical.

The market and diner does close in the early afternoon about 2:30 since most locals have already come to purchase their fish for the day and lunch has been served.

This place will be on our "must visit and eat" location anytime we are in the are or just passing through. So long as we get there before 2:30 in the afternoon.

Do yourself a favor and visit this place, eat until you can't and be satisfied. If you are visiting friends with a kitchen, buy some very fresh fish and have a great evening meal.

“Fresh it ain't”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed January 8, 2013

First, Bruno's cafe located within the market was closed. Moving down the fish counter, everything was buried in ice, packed in plastic bags. They had cherry-stone clams and I swear I couldn't see a single clam that wasn't open. Most all of their prepared foods were frozen, and the ones that weren't, eg. shrimp stuffed potatoes, didn't appeal to me. We purchased "Grouper" and some "fresh" shrimp from a less than enthusiastic fish monger. Just finished pan frying the Grouper, anxious for its sweet succulent meat only to be grossly disappointed with its strong taste. Obviously, it was old beyond its years. After a few bites we discarded it. The Shrimp awaits, but I'm not optimistic.

“Long time loyal customers”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 20, 2012 via mobile

We make a yearly trip from Iowa to visit Quality Seafood. We buy shrimp ,which they due head and pack for us.Todd the owner almost always comes out to greet us and his staff is very knowledgable. They carry a large selection of seafoods and other meat items, as well as seasonings and condiments. Bruno's ,their on site eatery is a great place for a quick little lunch.

“Thanks”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 14, 2012

Ate ate Bruno's while at Cruisin the Coast mainly based on the reviews here.
Thanks to those who recommended it as we thoroughly enjoyed it!
I've passed this place numerous times as it's between the IP and Beau Rivage.
The place appeared to be spotless.
We ordered at the counter and were promptly served our food.
My wife had the plate lunch=--several filets of fried fish, French fries, cup of very good gumbo, corn fritters and bread pudding for dessert.
I had gumbo and shrimp poboy.
Everything we ater was very good
