“We called it home and will use it again when we come back to the area”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 11, 2011

We arrived in Biloxi on Tuesday night and went first to one of the popular casino hotels because we found a lower rate than Hampton. We were told we would have to book online to get the rate we were quoted. We were exhausted and really didn't want to stay in a casino hotel anyway, as we were there for business and wanted a quieter atmosphere and didn't care for the smell of smoke that goes along with the casino. We went to the Hampton Inn and were checked in for two nights quickly with no problems. We had the choice between a gulf view and a parking lot view. The gulf view was $20 more per night so we decided on that. It was so worth it. We were delighted when we got to our room. The decor was very upscale and comfortable. We were surprised with a jacuzzi tub and our room was spotless!! We enjoyed the usual HI breakfast in the mornings. This HI cut no corners as some have in other locations, such as Pearl, MS, where we stayed the previous night. We were so happy with our room we wanted to stay another night. The lady at the desk told us they were booked but surprised us as we came in from an early meeting Thursday morning and let us know they had a cancellation. All the staff was friendly and thoughtful and the entire hotel was very clean. The beaches in Biloxi are still not great and the water is murky but our view of the gulf was gorgeous. The HI is very close to the Beau Rivage, the best casino, and across from the lighthouse pier. Perfect for business or pleasure!! We won't stay anywhere else next time we are in the area.

Room Tip: Ask for 503 if you want the jacuzzi tub. Im not sure how many rooms have this.

My husband and I have stayed at this hotel 3 times over the past few years, and each time we've been more than satisfied. It is clean and pretty (love the decor), plus the bed and pillows are very comfortable. We liked that the room had a refrigerator and microwave because we were able to keep our leftovers from a nearby restaurant to warm up later. And for dessert, there were cookies in the lobby. They made the place smell so good. But they go pretty quickly, so ask the desk clerk when they expect to make some and be ready! I didn't go down to breakfast, but I was happy with the bran muffin and yogurt that my hubby brought up for me. The staff there were very polite and friendly. The only downside is that the parking lot fills up fast, but it wasn't like we had nowhere to park. There is ample parking provided customers don't take up more than one space with their cars (which seemed to be the case when we were there). I suspect that the hotel would have resolved the situation if necessary. We no longer bother to look for any other hotels when we have to go to Biloxi, because this one is just perfect and doesn't cost an arm and a leg.

We just did a quick "stop for the night" here while on a road trip, but we definitely want to come back. Very nice, comfortable rooms. Relatively new building, very comfortable bed. Parking was a bit cramped for our sailboat, but no problem.

Stayed at several Hampton Inns and have always enjoyed the stays since you can count on a good quality hotel. Hotel staff at this hotel was excellent and very accommodating. Best touch was Krispy Kreme doughnuts as part of their complimentary breakfast.

Was very happy with this Hampton Inn. It apparently was one of the older HIs but appears to be recently totally renovated. Their website indicates that they are renovating their hallways and breakfast area...but it looked complete to me! The room was spacious and perfectly clean...plenty of room to move around. Had a large fridge. We could see the beach from the room...it's just across the street. The pool was on the front side of the hotel. Breakfast was standard HI, no problems there. Easy to get anywhere from the hotel. Good value.

We checked in at the Hampton Inn for one night....Our room was located on the 6th floor - had partial view of the water -- very nice television, lots of channels - even had 3 HBO channels.

Nice size bathroom - great water pressure and awesome shower.

Bed was very comfortable. Had to get different pillows from the front desk as the ones they had on the bed were too soft, but the ones they gave us were perfect.

Had refrigerator and microwave in the room.

Great coffee and breakfast in the morning too!

Loved the location - across the road from the beach. We could walk across to enjoy the sand and water at sunset each evening. The room was attractive and spacious, beautiful decor. It had everything we needed. My husband loved the free wi-fi internet in the room & the breakfast. His favorite was the make-your-own-waffles. I loved the comfy bed, the lovely decor of the room, but most of all I loved the view of the ocean out our 2nd floor window. I couldn't wait to open the blinds each morning! We made this hotel our home base for 3 1/2 days while we explored the Gulf Coast. It was so nice to come back to our home-away-from-home each day and to relax. I loved the fact that I couldn't hear any of the other guests at all. Didn't hear doors slamming, or people's t.v.'s, etc. It felt like we were the only ones there. So wonderfully relaxing. If we ever go down to the Gulf Coast again, we will Definitely stay here. We would recommend this hotel to Everyone! Thanks Hampton Inn Biloxi!
