“Mini Getaway”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 2, 2013

My Hubby and I were celebrated our 3rd year anniversary by taking a spontaneous trip to New Orleans. Apparently that weekend the city was full of conventions, concerts and the Saints were playing so there were no rooms available in the entire city! So, we decided to drive to Biloxi. I found South Beach Bioloxi online and was taken in by the pics and prices. I called to verify vacancy and price and was upgraded to a one bedroom suite with partial beach view. Once we got there the staff was nice and check in was easy. The room was everything as we saw online...BEAUTIFUL! Minutes away from the casinos ( we had a blast). Only issue was that we had to call room service due to a stain on the sheets and towels. We are very particular about were we lay our head. They were quick to respond though. Other than that we would definatley go back and reccommend it to others...

Room Tip: Corner views are just as good. No need to pay extra for full view unless you get an upgrade.

The management and staff here have been wonderful. Everyone on staff is friendly, polite and welcoming. The rooms are large, comfortable and always very clean (a pet peeve of mine). The bar area is a favorite place for us to sit and enjoy the sunset with a good bartender. We have been here multiple times and introduced others to the hotel, too. We will definitely be back. If you don't like the noise and craziness of staying at one of the casinos, this is definitely a great choice.

Room Tip: If you have children and are planning to stay more than one night, they offer a 2-bed, 2 bath suite...

We could only stay one night but had a great time. The room was very clean and spacious. We loved to be able to sit on the balcony, drink our coffee and watch the sunrise. Was great to be right on the beach! The staff were very friendly. The breakfast was also good. I have recommended the hotel to friends and family looking for a place to stay on a quick weekend trip.

Room Tip: Any room you get will have a view of the beach. It all depends if you want to the sunrise or sunset...

We had a wonderful stay in this hotel!
Every employee we met was extremely friendly and very helpful. It felt like a family-run place. They all went above and beyond to make it a great stay. From the front desk to the bartenders and even the owner and his wife went out of their way to be sure things were done right and we left feeling they were new friends! We will be back and will recommend it to others.
Everything was super clean, well-taken care of and comfortable. It was quiet and peaceful. The best part--the beach!!! We had a partial-view room. It was beautiful even when the weather wasn't. You can walk for miles on the beach. There is a nice patio and bar on the third floor that served snack items, sandwiches and pizza. There is a restaurant next door that we liked--Shaggy's. Super friendly people there too. Casinos are close if you like that sort of thing, but we wanted quiet, and were not disappointed!
The room was larger than a normal hotel room and had a small fridge and microwave, a nice bathroom and again--the view!!! We were very pleased.

Room Tip: Go for a corner room with at least the partial view!

Made a reservation for $201.00 a night. Drove from MCY to Biloxi with family. When arrived no reservation was found. I was accommodated though and was charged $259.00. The hotel owes me 58.00 + tax. I wrote to them twice, no reply as of yet. It was cruising the coast weekend. They really boosted the rate. Look at now, each suite sells for around $100.00 a night. Not a good practice.

On the beach !!!! The hotel is just as the website claims. We had a one bedroom suite. So worth it ! Bed was OK, 5 nights was a bit tough. Need better lux beds. Need better linens, too. Good pillows! Sofa bed uncomfortable, open and closed, but they all are. Breakfast included..... Just OK.
GREAT VIEW. Soft sand just off a nice deck on the beach. Near everything. We would stay here again.
