“Serene, impeccable room and epitome of southern hospitality”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 28, 2014

Close proximity to sights and events in Biloxi, Gulfport and Ocean Springs and the rest of the Mississippi Gulf Coast. 22 minutes from the Gulfport-Biloxi International Airport. Short jaunt from the I-110 exit should you want to get on I-10.

Chateau Blessey offers a more intimate setting to meet and chat with others and the owners offer a very nice personal touch to your visit, which is a nice change from the hustle and bustle of commercialized hotels.

Breakfast time was worked around my preference and the owners take care to accommodate any special needs (i.e. allergies or preferences).

Very charming home and layout with attention to details in the room and the rest of the house. Though the owners live upstairs (it is a B&B), you are given as much privacy as needed. The character of the home is unique due to the age of the house and Katherine and Walter did a beautiful job in restoring the areas damaged by Hurricane Katrina. Unless you know what was damaged, you cannot see what was repaired.

Being on the beachfront there is always a gentle breeze from the Gulf of Mexico with a view of out-going/in-coming shrimp boats and beach-goers and it's a short walk to the beach. It's easy to relax on the covered front porch with a morning cup of coffee, if preferred.

You have to weigh the cost with what you're looking for and decide if this more intimate setting is preferred. It was for us.

Highly recommend.

Walter and Katherine make your stay a delight. Would highly recommend this Bed and Breakfast. They both are very knowledgeable and helpful about the Biloxi area. If this is your first time to try a Bed and Breakfast this one will not be disappointing. Thi

My husband and I recently had the privilege of spending one night at Chateau Blessey. I will certainly return there! The home is lovely, the breakfast is delicious, and the owners Walter and Katherine are delightful hosts. We had such a good time hearing about the history of the house and getting to be friends with the Blesseys. I do hope to be able to spend time with them again.

We spent one night here with Katharine and Walter, who were the perfect hosts. Katharine welcomed us with a hug and typical Southern Hospitality. The post Katrina renovations are spectacular. Make sure you have Walter show the photos and tell his stories.

Katherine and Walter were very hospitable and kind. They made us feel like family and even sang Happy birthday at breakfast for me! Thanks for making our getaway so special! Praying for a Blessey year! ;)

We stayed at Chateau Blessey during our daughters wedding weekend. The home is charming and beautiful, the bed was nice and comfy and the rooms were spotless. The food was delicious too! Katherine and Walter have the biggest and best hearts and we felt like we were staying with and sharing this special event with our dearest friends. We plan to get back there again and think it would be fun to have a small family reunion there. We have truly found a favorite spot!

Chateau Blessey provided us a beautiful, charming, comfortable stay in Biloxi with memories to enjoy for a lifetime. Walter and Katherine are superb hosts and gave us many details about the history of Biloxi and New Orleans. The food is excellent, the house beautifully furnished and the rooms very comfortable. Thank you Walter and Katherine for your unique hospitality.
