“Good location to casinos and beaches”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 29, 2013

In town for one night when passing through the area so this location worked well, esp since we stayed on points. We had a nice room on the top floor with a view of the Gulf. Seemed comparable to other Four Points. Close to some good restaurants including the Half Shell and the Beau Rivage casino.

My wife and I stayed 2 nights at Four Points, Biloxi, and the stay was very good. The front desk personnel were friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean, well kept, and the white comforter was soft and warm. The hotel is near old downtown Biloxi, and close to everything. Overall it was one of our best hotel experiences of all time.

Room Tip: For a few dollars more you can have a fantastic ocean view.

Contemporary at a fair price. Large bathroom, comfortable room. Restaurant great service but over over over priced menu. Good place to stay and visit other locations/hotels with casinos. Poor views; view of the parking lot or the Gulf obstructed by very busy highway on/off ramps. Our check-in clerks did not meet us with a smile; it was more like they were doing us a favor. The room pushed this to an average.

This Four Points didn't live up to my other experiences at other similar hotel chains. I would suggest staying somewhere else in Biloxi or Ocean Springs.

First, our "upgraded" room to the gulf view had a lot of noise from the outside highway and pool. I am guessing that they don't have pool hours, as people were out after midnight laughing and being loud. Also, the walls are thin and we heard a baby crying in the early a.m.

Most annoyingly, though, was the room service. The first morning, I only ordered toast and orange juice and it arrived after a 30 min wait. The next night, I decided that I would fill out the breakfast card and put it on my door, so that I wouldn't have to wait. After 10 mins of wait past the scheduled time, I called to inquire and they said that they never received my order (although the card was gone from the door). After ordering cereal, toast, and orange juice, I was told to come and pick it up from downstairs. Downstairs, I was told by an erratic and odd behaving staff member that they didn't have the correct key for where they kept the cereal, and so I got no cereal, and was back to waiting over 30 mins for 4 pieces of toast and orange juice.

My husband and I have been to the Sheraton two times, and both times have been excellent trips. This hotel is close to a 4 star in everything, except price.
Very nice bed and room, with an oddity (also mentioned by another review) of having small containers rather than drawers for clothes. Not an issue, works just the same. The bed is great, with some nice pillows. Great view of the Gulf from the gulf side rooms.
The staff is very good, friendly, and anxious to help with any issue or qustion. The hotel is a great value, expecially if you can get Priceline rates. (at about half the regular rate. Use a three and half star request, and start around $45).Don't let this deter you--a great way to fill up the vacant room that might go un-used.
To me, for the room you get, the bed, the staff, and the great location--there is not another place to stay in the Biloxi area.
A point to know: great location if you either take the hotel shuttle, or drive a vehicle--but not walking. Located next to the off ramp from I-110, this is not a good location to walk anywhere. Right across Hwy 90 to the beach, however do not let this be an issue. The Beau Rivage casino is about 100 yards away, but still not a good idea to walk. Take the shuttle or drive. The shuttle will take you anywhere, and pick you up.
If you drive to any of the casinos, go out the "back" way to the first street (Howard), turn right, and then turn at any of the traffic lights down to Hwy 90.
Food suggestions: A nice restaurant is located inside, some very nice selections on the menu--try the scallops on the bed of mango/corn salsa---nice combination; the Half Shell Oyster House (6-8 blocks) for a nice meal (try the char grilled oysters!!); BB's in Ocean Spings for Po' boys (open 11-3), or the Blowfly restaurant in Gulfport. Most of the casinos offer good buffet offers also. Ocean Springs has the "Tato nut Donuts" that is a must visit if like great donuts and great coffee--but get there by 9-10AM before they sell out.We were in Biloxi for four days, and got donuts and coffee four times!!
.

Room Tip: Ask for a Gulf side room.

I travel a lot. I like adventures, so I'm always on the road.
This hotel is one of my favorite in the world. Seriously. You heard me right, New York, Berlin, LA, etc. This Four Points in Biloxi is one of the best hotels I know. Glitziest? No. Most exotic locale? No.

But this jewel of a hotel has an unusual collection of facets.

Facet #1's name is Jeanna.
She is a weekend manager at the restaurant, and she is gracious, cheerful, dedicated, and guaranteed to lift your spirits. Just a good soul. (And professional and prompt and rad, too). Thanks, Jeanna, for making a rushed day a little less stressful.

Facets #2-5 are Marlo, Angela, Colleen, and Lacy. They are at the front desk and they are genuine bursts of graciousness and hospitality when you arrive. They make little gestures of helpfulness and efficiency which make every one of my stays a pleasure.

Facets #6-8 are Gina, Zula, and Kevin. They make the restaurant sing, the lobby shine, and the spirit of the place sparkle. You want good conversation? Visit the restaurant. And locals tell me it's some of the best grub in town.

Special notes:

Jan the housekeeper is a gem. And Jamaica (from whence she hails) should be proud of her. What do I mean by gem? Well, how many times do you see a housekeeper at a hotel in the hallway and run up to her and hug her? Happens every time with Jan.

This place boasts the nicest (and most proficient) security guy I've ever met, Andy.
