I just got back from Biloxi a couple hours ago. I brought my dog down with me to stay the night. I checked in right at 3. She was going to give me a non beachfront room, but when I asked for one she was more than happy to put me in one (it doesn't look like there are many rooms looking at the beach). She was polite but asked if I wanted to participate in a survey and then said be sure to give her "10s" last I checked you need to EARN your "10s" I DONOT just give them out. The room was VERY clean. It was sparse with only the bed and a desk but modern. The room was a great size, great view. The shower was Big! There was hardwood in the room which was a neat surprise until you got back from the beach and there was sand EVERYWHERE! Hardwood at the beach is a bad idea. It kept sticking to my feet so it even got in the bed. The room never really cooled, it was tolerable but not cold enough. There was an odd smell, not overbaring, not bad, just odd. The shower drained VERY slow so I showered in ankle deep water. The drain on the sink was also messed up and didnot drain properly. When I asked questions to the front desk they were always polite but NEVER helpful. You would think a pet friendly hotel could direct me to the pet friendly beach, since I read there was one on the internet before I drove down. Like one of the other posters said, I went up to my room after some sight seeing this morning to collect my things and check out and I could not get into my room. But after reactivating my key it worked. Not happy that a breakfast was not offered but I knew that going in. The bed was hard but no uncomforably so, The pillows were VERY thin.
The location is perfect!!! Right on the beach just cross the street, not crowded at all like many touristy beaches. Plenty of restaurants, casino and even a mall with-in a few miles. Easy to find, plenty of parking. Right next door to a souvenir shop so if you forget something like I did you can pick it up.
All in all this hotel met my needs, a pet friendly hotel on the beach that didnt break the bank. This is a place to go hangout on the beach, no mini golf, no go carts. Just a simple relaxing beach. If you are going with a pet you dont have many choices but if you are going sans animal I would choose a different place to sleep.
