This is the first restaurant out of every review I've ever done for TripAdvisor that got a Terrible. This was earlier in the summer, and I battled whether or not to post it. I believe in being honest, though, even if I seem to be the only person to ever have a bad experience here.
My 27th birthday with my wife; our first weekend without our daughter since she'd been born. We made reservations for a Saturday night; no need, the place was about 25% capacity.
The prices were extremely high for the portions provided. We aren't teppanyaki or shabu shabu connoisseurs, but we have experience with other "fusion" type Asian cuisine. To summarize a long and miserable dinner:
-Server was gone 10 minutes after providing menus
-Spent 5 minutes trying to get him to understand after giving us a drink menu (which didn't include any non-alcoholic drinks) that we wanted a "fountain-drink soda" not "soda water".
-Food took 36 minutes to come out (no other customer had entered since we had).
-Appetizers came out with entrees, and both appetizers were cold.
-Our dumplings were not only cold, but the filling balls were sitting to one side and the dumplings had fallen off and sitting in a pile on the other side of plate.
-Asked for a manager, after waiting 15 minutes was told "He's on a phone call, he can't step out of his office right now"
-After our request for a manager, our immediately brought us our check and refused to acknowledge us until we left.
I've received better food, value, service, and joy out of a Taco Bell.
