Owner description: We invite you to enjoy all that makes our museum unique: the artists, the architecture, the history, and the landscape. The Ohr-O'Keefe Museum of Art celebrates the innovative, independent and creative spirit of our namesake Mississippi master potter George Ohr. In a fitting tribute to Ohr, artist and architect Frank Gehry designed an award winning campus of bold intriguing self sufficient structures. The campus consists of our Mississippi Sound Welcome Center, three art galleries, the reconstructed home of Pleasant Reed, and our City of Biloxi Center for Ceramics. These buildings and the exhibits therein offer visitors separate but not isolated experiences - together creating a single unified vision connected by the expansive brick plaza and the majestic Live Oaks.

“Top Rated Museum On The Mississippi Gulf Coast”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 10, 2014

Touring the gulf area? Don't miss this great museum, the Ohr-O'keefe Museum of Art (https://www.georgeohr.org) right on Highway 90 in Biloxi (386 Beach Boulevard • Biloxi, Mississippi).

Great exhibits. You can see the whole thing in 30 to 60 minutes, depending on how in depth you want to be.

Right now (March 2014) the features are Rod Moorhead's and his statues (large and tiny) named Entropy, and George Ohr, the Mad Potter, .

Check it out.

$10 admission, but they have AAA and student and old people discounts

“Small, but good quality displays”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 14, 2014

Much better than the Anderson museum in Ocean Springs which has the same admission price. Plus, the people here are happy to see you. A nice exhibit of pottery and also local artwork. The gift shop is small but has a good selection of decent quality items.

“WOW!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 14, 2014

Did not know anything about this Mr. Ohr until we arrived in Biloxi. His pottery is beautiful and the new museum will be an interesting place to visit when it opens. If you like pottery and very interesting artists, this is the place to see.

“Neat place but not very big”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed January 17, 2014

This is a great place that celebrates local artists. Several things there are really interesting and neat to see. It is very small, however, so don't expect lots of exhibits. If you like pottery and local art, this is a god place. Maybe when the construction is finished there will be more exhibits open.

“Beautiful & Interesting”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 24, 2013

Attended a family wedding at the museum. We were able to walk around the grounds and enjoyed the interesting architecture. It was a gorgeous venue for a wedding.
