This attraction basically consists of a tour around Jefferson Davis final home, a walk around the grounds that are slowly being restored after Hurricane Katrina, and a gift shop. Although this is advertised as the home and Presidential Library, nothing was ever said when we bought our tickets about the fact that the library isn't even finished and won't be open until at least June. Since that was something my husband had really been interested in, needless to say, very disappointing. Most of the buildings on the site had been destroyed by Katrina and aren't being replaced, so it was hard to get an idea of what it looked like. Also, they talk about a film-you sit on folding chairs in a brightly lit auditorium and watch a video made in 1991 on a 40" TV. I'm sure it will be different when the library is open, but I really feel people whould be told exactly what the ticket is purchasing
