My husband and I went to the Two Harbors Lighthouse in August. It is a working B&B, but we just came to see the lighthouse. What was extra cool, was they also had the Pilothouse of the Frontenac ore boat. What a great place to watch Agate Bay, where working ore boats come in and out.
We enjoyed the lighthouse, although it is a B&B, so most of the rooms and views were for "guests only." That was a little disappointing. But you get to go up in the tower. I took a photo of a departing ore boat while looking out the top "port hole."
There is a lot of history and information. We enjoyed just being able to walk around and look and learn. If you like history, you'll enjoy this stop.
