We had 2 adjoining rooms while in town to visit family between Christmas and New Year's. The rooms were nice and quiet. The water pressure was good. The location was lovely with all the holiday lights in the park across the street. The St. Paul Hotel is actually not all that far from MSP airport, and I would definitely recommend staying there rather than by the airport, even for a short visit. My only complaint is that the lobby seemed always crowded. There were several weddings the weekend we were there. I could not figure out at first why there always seemed to be so many well-dressed ladies filling all the chairs and sofas in the lobby, but then realized it was because they come for High Tea. The lobby area is therefore a bit crowded. If you wanted to just sit down and read, it would not be a very Zen-like experience.
