Stayed three nights during a business meeting. Location was good, in that it is centrally located in downtown St. Paul. Although it took me a day to discover the skywalks, I was hooked on getting around town through the 2nd floor skywalk which this hotel connects.
My room was at the end of the hall and was oddly shaped, sort of an angled off bedroom, but no adjacent rooms to hear bathroom noise or other noises. Slept soundly. You might request xx70 as a room number, but recommend no lower than the 10th floor.
Elevators were slow and when going back up from the 2nd floor, you need to swipe your room card to allow you access back off as a security feature. However, sometimes the lighted arrow would go off and you would be waiting and waiting . You need to re enter your card.
The Great American Grill was a plus for my breakfasts, although each morning I had to ask for coffee refills.
Things were going well until my final night, when I woke up with flea bites and saw a couple on my ankles. Not good.
I would characterize this property as adequate , but nothing special. Service is adequate, but doesn't make you feel important - even if you are Hilton Honors member
