“Love A Prairie Home Companion!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 8, 2013

Wonderful, charming theater in the heart of St. Paul. Try to catch Garrison Keillor when he and his Prairie Home Companion show is in town! Terrific entertainment and a Minnesota icon!

“Incredible Performance Venue”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 7, 2013

The Fitzgerald Theater in Saint Paul is one of the best venues I have ever had the pleasure to experience. Architecturally stunning, the Fitzgerald is the oldest theater in St. Paul and was built in 1910. Minnesota Public Radio (MPR) bought the theater in the mid 1980's and soon after it became the setting for the internationally acclaimed live radio program, Garrison Keillor's "A Prairie Home Companion". The Fitzgerald offers a myriad of performances, from concerts, film festivals, broadway musicals and various other programs. The staff is also extremely friendly and helpful. Don't miss out on experiencing a performance in this magical, historical venue!

“WONDERFUL venue for a concert”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 28, 2013

Really enjoyed seeing Todd Snider here. Great seating, plenty of leg room, TERRIFIC staff...very helpful and polite. The acoustics are what is magnificent in this jewel box of a historic theatre. I will be checking back to see who is playing in the future!

“A great venue for music”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 9, 2013

My family celebrated St. Pat's Day by attending a performance by Gaelic Storm at the Fitz. As luck would have it I got aisle seats in the last row of the main floor. Super view, easy acess to the bar (nice selection of Irish whisky for the show).

Parking readily available next door in the ramp. Some consttruction on the surrounding streets so plan accordingly by leaving yourself some additional time.

We've been here many times sitting in a variety of locations from the upper balcony to the main floor and always enjoyed the shows, no bad seats that we've been able to find.
