“Delish Juicy's”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 25, 2013

Atmosphere was great for a burgers and beers type of Friday night. Juicy's were delicious and full of lots of cheese! Service was great too - real laid back and fun!

“Everything I wanted Bryant Lake Bowl to be, but wasn't”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 20, 2013

Stopped in here for the first time on a Wednesday night. The place was packed, but there was immediate bar seating available both upstairs and downstairs. We decided to wait for a table and were seated downstairs near the bowling alley. While we didn't bowl, it looked like a lot of fun - prices seemed reasonable enough and had a great vintage look/feel. It also looked like the lanes had been maintained. The restaurant service was above average, the menu had a lot of options, prices seemed pretty inexpensive, and the food was good. Beer and wine only for alcohol, but the beer selection seemed pretty good. We will definitely be back and I am excited to bowl here.

“Try Juicy Nookie at the NOOK in St. Paul”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 6, 2013

For your first Juicy Lucy you won't do better than ordering the Juicy Nookie at the NOOK in St. Paul. The Jucy Lucy (it can be spelled either way) is a burger delight. Made by enclosing cheese insde a couple of fine beef patties and crimped on the edges to hold the cheese inside, then served on a tasty bakery bun Juicy Nookie is well worth the wait if the place is crowded. If it's really crowded and you have a little extra time you can always go downstairs and visit the little bowling alley where you'll find an old-time bowling set up with a half-dozen or so lanes. Rent a pair of shoes, pick out a ball and roll a few frames while waiting for the upstairs restaurant to clear out a bit. The burgers are worth the wait and you'll probably be one of the first time visitors who even knows they lanes are available downstairs.

“Award winning burgers, malts & melted cheese sand, informal atmosphere”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 25, 2013

You won't find "The Nook" in Minneapolis cause it's a true St. Paul original. Burgers & juicy lucles have won numerous awards. Dining companion had melted cheese sand that she said was one of the best she'd every had. Don't come here to discuss family or state secrets because the tables are about 18 inches apart. Service is good and friendly. Most nights you need to get here by 5:25 or after 7:30 if you don't want to want 15-30 minutes for a table (Did I mention there are only about 15-20 tables). Spring, summer, fall evenings wait can be longer.
This place has darn good food of its type and its' cute - a long, narrow place. Don't come here expecting white linens. But burgers made in lots of ways, good fries, other sandwiches and yes, some salads - they do all that very well.

“went there for lunch and got my first Juicy Lucy”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 23, 2013

Service was good and relatively quick, my infant daughter was with me and the server was very good when my daughter knocked over a drink- it was cleaned up in no time and she was quick to replace the drink.
