The food at Mama's is great. The atmosphere is casual and enjoyable. The staff is exceptional. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone. I love the pasta, bread and pizza.

“Great dinner for a family of 15.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 16, 2011

Yes, it is quaint but the service and food were outstanding. The portions are large and the prices reasonable. It was worth the 35 minute drive for the family to meet. Loved the complimentary ice cream cone, perfect end to the dinner. We were able to get a reservation which was helpful on a Friday night at 6pm, not sure if they normally accept them or not. The total bill for 15 was $124 pre tip, can't beat that.

“sweet and quaint”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed November 6, 2010

I grew up visiting MaMa's and love going back there for the comfort food of Mostaccioli with meatballs covered with cheese ($9). A small is enough for me and a large leaves leftovers that come home in a foil container (and they add a little extra sauce to make the leftovers just as delicious as the first bite) It comes with bread and butter and is topped off with a mini ice cream cone for dessert!

The atmosphere is cozy with little TVs at some of the tables. The renovations that occurred after a water leak, maintained the old Italian cafe feel. Tony the "pizza guy" is always friendly and welcoming. One time on our way out he even gave my son a quarter to put in his piggy bank. What a wonderful place this is! I feel like family when I visit.

At high times you will wait for a table because the restaurant is SMALL and the waiting room even smaller (it's basically an entryway.) It's not in a fancy neighborhood and parking is not convenient, so be prepared. Check hours before going because they aren't what you might think they are.
