We stay in Doubletrees a lot, and the quality does vary. This property was very nice, and staff were exceptionally helpful - a personalized welcome note from the manager was in our room when we checked in, a nice touch. Bed and pillows extremely comfortable. The one problem, which it cost me a night of sleep, was that a seating area in the lobby was located immediately below our second-floor room, and LOUD voices from guests socializing in that area were clearly audible as we tried to sleep, well into the early hours. Because of the building construction, guests may not be aware that their voices would carry up to rooms, but it sounded like they were sitting right outside the door. The staff were very apologetic when I reported this problem the next day - hopefully it can be corrected with a simple sign in that area warning latenight congregants that their voices can be heard in sleeping rooms. If that is fixed, we would unreservedly recommend this hotel; until then, ask for a room on an upper floor, away from common areas.
