In short this is a big sports-bar/restaurant. The place is huge and dotted with numerous TV screens showing sports or whatever else is on. They pride themselves with a list of over 140 beers. Beers aside, food is decent, not too pricy. The staff are friendly. In fact, they are a bit too friendly. At least 4-5 different waiters, managers, and other staff came by to see how we are doing, not once but every couple of minutes, which results in somewhat annoying atmosphere. The service is not that great. My burger was served with fries missing, my colleague's food was not cooked well, so it had to be made again. When we ordered deserts it took almost 20 minutes for them to be delivered (slower than entre's). But since it is a new place some start-up mistakes are understandable. However if they continue this trend of inconsistent service they can easily become a below average place.
Finally, the location o this place is horrible. It's in a suburban strip mall and unless you're shopping at nearby Home Depot or Costco, I don't see a reason why one would go here just to eat at Yard House. If it were a bit smaller and focused more on improving a service it'd be a decent place.
