The Cooper Pub is located about a block from where the old Cooper Theatre stood for years (about a half mile from the highway 394 and 100 intersection) in the “hip” West End part of St. Louis Park. It is listed as a pub but kind of looks like a regular restaurant (but it does have a very small, pub like menu). We went on a Saturday night about 6 PM and had our choice of indoor or outdoor tables. Since it was a nice evening we chose an outdoor table in the shade and our server arrived a few minutes later. Our server was friendly and kept my soda full.
I had an awesome Chicken Sandwich with melted cheese and a grilled Pineapple slice on top. As a side I had mashed potatoes and gravy (they were also very good). My wife had the breaded Walleye fish sandwich which she really liked (I had a small bite and was not impressed). I am definitely coming back for the chicken sandwich and potatoes.
