“Really dark inside!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 5, 2012

Very good food, but dark and somewhat noisy. Service was fast and friendly. Our server was helpful about the menu, and the salads were quite good.

“Mediocre”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed August 1, 2012

A mediorcre Mexican restaurant in the hip West End complex. Happy hour is crowded in the bar area and outdoor patio seating. Limited, but half price appetizers and drinks make it a popular happy hour destination. The food is average, but not the best Mexican around. Service is slow and not very accurate. Manager saw we weren't be attended to properly and took over at our outdoor table. He was very nice and effiecient. Not a bad place, but could use some improvement in food and service. Great location.

Love this place! We go often and always have something new - always great each and every time. The tequila is the best!! Just ask how many they have ;-)

“Yet Another Barely Average Restaurant in Minneapolis”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed July 18, 2012

The setting was nice, great they had outdoor dining, but the food is barely average. The complimentary chips were good, very thin and crisp and lightly salted. The accompanying salsa was flat tasting and not well balanced. I ordered a cup of the roasted corn chowder and the portion was very skimpy with the level of the soup in the standard foodservice cup at least 1 to 1 1/2-inches below the top of the bowl. It tasted good, but they need to add more soup. The entree was the vegetarian tacos which were very bland overall and in great need of salt. Additionally, there was only about 1/2 teaspoon of the cojita cheese sprinkled on top of all three tacos. They came with beans, which were quite bland as well and a sticky rice that was too sweet. I was very disappointed and wouldn't go back. It was niether interesting from authentic regional Mexican perspective, nor from a Amercanized version of Mexican food.

“AMAZING!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 16, 2012

Words cannot describe how great this place was, but it was awesome. We tried it from a friend who told us about it, and we were NOT disappointed.

Just trust us on this one, definitely worth a visit.
